In Daniel 6, Daniel is confronted with a dilemma, does he follow the law and not pray to God or does he continue to pray. In Daniel 6:10 it says, Daniel went up to his room and prayed, JUST AS HE HAD DONE BEFORE. In this passage we look at Daniel's prayer and are encouraged by how he prayed.

Jesus works through HIs body, and He puts people in positions and places to be an interruption and to call people back to God. Are we willing to be that interruption?

In this message we look at the famous story about the handwriting on the wall in Daniel 5. What's interesting is the party the King threw was during a time when the city was surrounded by an enemy army. In the midst of danger the king tried to distract himself, but God had other plans. This led us to ask the question, are we distracted? Are we awake to the dangers all around and living for Jesus, or are we sleeping when it comes to our relationship with Jesus?

We believe God is constantly breaking into our world, wanting to get our attention because He's after our hearts. We see this modeled in the life of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon. In Daniel 4 God gives the king a dream and humbles him so he will give God his whole heart. What do you do when God breaks into your life?

Where do you go when difficulty arises? May we be a people who constantly goes to the only One who can help, and the only One who can comfort.

Daniel Decided... Daniel determined in his heart. Even though Daniel was taken from his homeland, given a new name, and everything removed from his life one thing remained - his faith in God. This led him to take a bold stance. What led him to do this? It was his firm believe that no matter where he lived his true home was with God and he was just a temporary resident, a sojourner in this world.
