When Jesus was asked by his disciples, teach us to pray, He taught them. The words He taught them is what we call the Lord's prayer, and throughout the years followers of Jesus have considered this prayer to be a secret weapon. Why is that? In the fast paced world we live in, the Lord's prayer reorients our life and focuses our heart and mind on our Father, His Kingdom, and His will for our lives.

Throughout Jesus' life we see him retreating to be with His Father. Even in times when the crowds were pressing in, wanting to make Him king, he withdraws to a lonely place to pray. This rhythm demonstrates a powerful truth: Jesus was submitted to the Father's Leadership. As we look at our lives, are we? Are we submitted to the leadership of the Father? Is our outer life directed by our inner life? Do we have regular rhythms of retreated to be with God?

Malachi shares his testimony and challenges us to live our lives wholeheartedly for Jesus. [Note: This was an encouraging message as Malachi's grandfather was able to pray for him before he shared.] Be encouraged.

Matt Yount from Victory Point teaches from Matthew 6 and how we are to begin to pray. Before we share our requests with God we are to focus on Him, who He is, and worship Him.

As we approach 2025 it is good to look back and reflect, but also it's good to look forward and ask what needs to continue in the new year? Or, what needs to be revitalized in 2025.

On Christmas Eve we slowed down to celebrate and be filled with wonder over the greatest gift of all time: JESUS.

When was the last time you were lost in wonder?

If we are not careful we can become too familiar with the Christmas story and lose wonder and awe. This week we look at the announcement that Mary would give birth to Jesus, and we see that with God all things are possible. As you listen to this may you be filled with faith and expectation.

Peace. That is the message of the Christmas season. Jesus came to bring peace. He is the prince of peace. In this message we are reminded of the powerful truth that we at one time were alienated from God, and without hope. But Jesus, through the cross brought peace to those who are near and to those who are far.

As followers of Jesus we have so much to be thankful for. In this message we talk about the power of giving thanks in all circumstances and we also hear testimonies from many regarding what they are thankful for.

Jesus' command is clear, go into all the nations and make disciples. This week, Zach shared his journey with the Lord that led him to serve in Africa and all over the world. We also heard testimonies from what God did during our outreach weekend. We pray this message encourages you and inspires you to live a life fully devoted to Jesus.
