We have been formed to understand love is transactional. This happens in our homes, in our churches, and our workspaces, and in our communities. As much as
we hate to admit it, when we love others, we do it with an expectation that they will return that love in the manner to which it has been extended. When the other party does not reciprocate in kind, we get our feelings hurt and
eventually we cut them off.
We are flipping that old script and framing relationships from a "love well", "stay well", "covenant" kind of lens.
