The Christmas story is full of angels speaking to humans. Do we lose our ability to see angels as we grow up? Do we suppress our imaginations as we become more sophisticated and reasonable?

And she received this mission with a surrendered joy. We can learn much from this young girl and her delight in being called by God in ways that truly upended her young life.
