Lament is how Christians grieve.

Non-Gospel Lament: the two extreme lamenting strategies we tend to employ

The Faithlessly Fighting: the refusal to lament or even tell the truth of what is sad and sorrowful in your reality (stiff upper lip)

The Faithlessly Fractured: handing yourself over to it and becoming defined by it (your trauma is now your identity)

Neither will take their woe to God and receive the wonder of His works.
