Restore the Union

The second episode of Restore the Union focuses on the issues that surround our current electoral system. Eric interviews Yury Konnikov, co-founder of Florida Initiative for Electoral Reform (FLIER) they are a non-partisan coalition of groups and individuals recognizing the need for electoral reforms to enrich and expand democracy. Eric and Yury discuss how the current electoral system enables divisiveness in our society, they break down some of the individual issues with the system, and then discuss the ways some of those issues are addressed and most importantly what you as an individual can do to help fix the broken system.

The first episode of Restore the Union focuses on laying the groundwork for the rest of the series. Eric interviews former CIA Intel Analyst Andrew Bustamante about the divineness in the U.S. today and how we got to this place.  Eric and Andrew discuss ways for people to separate the fact from fiction in the everyday news cycle and ways for people to better educate themselves to see both sides of the aisle.
