Jesus had complete authority over diseases, demons and nature itself. In his earthly ministry, he proved that nothing was beyond his power. But what did he come to do? What was His mission on earth? In his own words, he 'came to call sinners' - and that is good news for us.

Is it possible to live a full and fulfilling life while remaining single? Traditional cultures say 'no' - they see marriage as a necessary step toward maturity, and consider those who remain unmarried to be defective. Modern cultures also say 'no' - they deny that fulfilment is possible apart from sex and romance. Christianity, however, speaks a revolutionary word to both traditional and modern cultures. Christianity says that singleness is a blessing from God provided that we receive it as such.
