Our enemy will shout, spit and spew insults and lies at us in order to make us fearful but just as David did we must know in "whom we have put our trust."

We have been given an arsenal of weapons by God to do battle with in our everyday life. Two of those weapons, are the Shield of Faith and the Sword of the Spirit. One is defensive, the other is offensive. Do we live off our faith or does our faith life off of us? Do we wield the Sword of the Spirit (the Word of God) to kill or heal? Our spiritual battle is something we must be dressed for. We have been provided the equipment and clothing we need to do battle or to engage the enemy. We must adorn ourselves with the armor God has given us and the first of which is the helmet of salvation. It is an offensive and defensive piece of armor.
