Sloan Sanders is a wife, a mom, a competitive shooter, and a good one at that! She grew up in the ammo industry in the family-run business, Precision Delta, so you could say she was born to shoot guns.

Sloan is Master class in Open, shoots .38 super comp, and reloads her ammo herself! Her husband has been a huge help getting her into competitive shooting and has since supported her along the way. She's got a big dream and for her, it's very much attainable.

We sit down and talk about growing up hunting, learning how to shoot, carrying concealed, raising a daughter around firearms, and more.

Austin started shooting at just 5 years old. In his early youth, he began competing in trapshooting as a junior competitive shooter. He faced a lot of stigmas as a junior shooter with a lot more firearms knowledge than your everyday civilian.

Then Austin joined the Marine Corps and made their Reserve Shooting Team. He's competed all over the country in 3 gun and USPSA competitions. He shares a lot of educational content online as well.

Matthew has grown up competing in USPSA competitions. He travels with friends and family shooting and has a really tight-knit local shooting community.

Matthew switched over to Open and began taking shooting seriously pretty recently. He's now Master class and has some goals he's going for.  

Matthew is a great ambassador for shooting sports and is a lot of fun to be around!

Tim was one of the very first people I met when I moved to Tennessee. At the time, we both were teaching the Tennessee handgun carry classes at the same range. Tim is the Founder of LFX Firearms Training specializing in defensive firearms training.

Tim also appeared with Chris Cerino of the History Channel’s Top Shot and Gun Talk’s Tom Gresham in First Person Defender, a television show by Gun Talk Media. You can watch his episode on YouTube.

In 2017, Tim accepted an apprenticeship from Tiger McKee at Shootrite Firearms Academy. Tiger is a lifelong student of personal combat and is one of the nation’s top firearms instructors for armed citizens, law enforcement, military, and security personnel.  As well as being a competitive shooter, Tim has certifications as an instructor from the NRA, the state of Tennessee as well as certifications in high angle rescue, confined space rescue, and hazardous material emergency.

I highly recommend if you're ever in the East Tennessee area to take a class with him on his private range.

Bryce and Blayne Dupuy are two brothers that are taking USPSA by storm. I was lucky enough to meet them and their parents on the road shooting major matches. These two are wise beyond their years, humble, and manage to balance school work, shooting, and family time.
