  • Mimics, the Voice You Trust, and the Trap That Makes You Move

Not with footsteps. Not with a scream. With a voice you trust.

In this episode, we open the case files on Mimics, the phenomenon where a voice sounds exactly like someone you love. It calls your name, it adds urgency, and it usually adds a direction. That’s the part people realize too late. It’s not just trying to scare you. It’s trying to make you move.

    mimic-final

We break the pattern down into a clear template, how the mimic picks the right identity, waits for the worst moment, calls your name like a hook, and then tries to pull you across a threshold. We also lay out three rules people learn right after they almost follow the sound, confirm before you move, treat urgency as a red flag, and watch for repeated name calling that feels like a command.

    mimic-final

Then we go through three case files.
A Pennsylvania duplex where two women report hearing each other’s voices and even arguments that never happened. A Nova Scotia case where names are called like roll call in the dark. And an older legend where knocks escalate into a voice with a personality, the perfect bridge into the question that never dies, when the weapon is a voice, how do you prove the source?

    mimic-final

Finally, Bert shares a personal moment from Wildwood where his own voice appears on a timestamped recording in the wrong room, and why mimic stories are different than basic hauntings. They don’t just haunt homes. They fracture trust.

  • Why I Disappeared After Our Investigation, and the Problem With “Paranormal Proof”

I’ve been gone since November, and I never told you I was stepping away. That’s on me. But I didn’t disappear because I ran out of stories. I stepped away because after our last investigation, I hit a wall.

Here’s the truth. Most paranormal devices can react, spike, beep, and light up, but that doesn’t mean they proved anything. And when you review footage later, it gets uncomfortable fast. You start seeing which moments actually hold up, and which ones collapse the second you try to defend them with a straight face.

In this episode, I break down exactly why I stepped away, what we used at Hinsdale and Wildwood, and why so much of that gear fails the “proof” test even when you’re using it honestly. EMF, REM Pods, the Dead Bell, cat balls, IR cameras, all of it has a job. The problem is, most of it is single-sensor. It can alert you that something changed, but it can’t explain why.

And that’s what changed everything for me.

I’m not here to trash anyone’s setup. I used the same gear. I’m here to raise the standard, because families living through this every night deserve better than, “Something happened, trust me.”

  • Ghost Game Conspiracy – The Polybius Mystery That Won’t Die

A game that vanished without a trace. A mystery that refuses to die. Today we’re digging into the story of Polybius, the arcade cabinet said to cause nightmares, memory loss and hallucinations.

    Full description:

In this episode, we take a deep dive through the timeline of the Polybius legend, starting with the strange cabinet that appeared in Portland, Oregon back in 1981. The stories describe a jet black machine with hypnotic gameplay that pulled in crowds. Players reported headaches, dizziness, and powerful nightmares. Some even claimed they lost time while playing it. The mystery only grew when people began reporting men in suits visiting arcades, collecting data from the machine and leaving without saying a word.

  • The Last Two Weeks Changed Everything — Hinsdale & Wildwood Investigations

The last two weeks have been unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.

On September 6th and 7th, we traveled to Salamanca, New York to investigate two of the most haunted locations in America — the Hinsdale House and the Wildwood Sanitarium. This was not your typical ghost hunt. Eight static cameras, a body cam, an infrared setup, and tools like the EMF pump and Dead Bell recorded everything.

What we captured shook us: unexplained spikes, objects moving, a box pushed, and — in Tommy’s room at Wildwood — what looks like a shadow figure gliding through. At the same time, our equipment lit up. Over 120 hours of footage boiled down into one story that I can finally share.

This isn’t just another Halloween special — this is the reason I’ve been quiet.

And this is the video I’ve been working toward all year.

  • Fox Hollow Farm: America’s Most Terrifying Murder House | True Crime & Paranormal

In the early 1990s, young men began vanishing from Indianapolis. Their disappearances all pointed toward one man… Herb Baumeister. Behind the gates of Fox Hollow Farm, police would later uncover over 10,000 human bone fragments. Some say the property is still haunted, not only by his victims but perhaps by Herb himself.

In this episode, we retrace the echoes of America’s most terrifying murder house. From the chilling encounter with “Brian Smart,” to mannequins staged around an indoor pool, to the shocking discoveries on the farm, this story blurs the line between true crime and the paranormal.

Stay tuned until the end… because the haunting continues in Part 2 on Heather’s channel, Tell Me A Scary Story.

  • UFO Hits Police Car, 14 Minutes Missing | The Val Johnson Incident

A deputy on a lonely Minnesota highway, a blinding white light, and two clocks that fell exactly fourteen minutes behind. This is the true story behind the “UFO Car” seen at the Marshall County Historical Society, and the case that refuses to fade: the Val Johnson Incident.

In August 1979, Deputy Val Johnson encountered a hovering light along State Highway 220. Moments later, his windshield was fractured in a perfect circle, a headlight blown, and both radio antennas bent in ways investigators struggled to explain. Johnson suffered welder-type eye irritation and regained consciousness with missing time, while his patrol car came to rest hundreds of feet down the road without clear braking or collision evidence. Investigators from CUFOS and industry engineers examined the car, and decades later it remains on display as a magnet for skeptics and believers alike. We’ll retrace the drive, the impact, the medical report, and the investigation, then break down the leading skeptical, believer, and fringe theories, from ball lightning and mirage effects to directed energy and time anomalies. Finally, we’ll track how the “UFO Car” became small-town legend and a pop-culture echo that still draws crowds.
