Retro Blissed

Welcome to Pocket Review, from the guys that brought you Retro Blissed!

In the first episode of a brand new series of shorter episodes focused on handheld games, the guys review Blade for the Gameboy Color, a licensed game from 2000 based on a movie Trevor has never seen (shocker). Since Trevor has never seen the movie, he can’t think of anything clever to say here...

Hold onto your rods! Trevor and Johnny troll the seas to catch the biggest Salmon ever. King Salmon for the Sega Genesis is simulation deep sea fishing game by Hot-B. Tuna in to find out if the guys found this game a-lure-ing, or just a bunch of bass.

Final Fantasy VI (Final Fantasy III in North America) was perhaps the most epic game ever released on the Super Nintendo. It’s also regularly named the greatest Final Fantasy, even above VII for many fans. But will Trevor and Johnny have what it takes to battle through this complex behemoth? Definitely probably not.

Pepsi Man is a Japanese only PlayStation game, featuring voice acting by Americans. Surely, if there’s any game Trevor and Johnny are experts on, it’s one about an unhealthy beverage.
