Did you know that Chuck Norris once swam around the Virgin Islands & when he was done they just referred to them as "the islands"?  The mans beard is so tough he can grate cheese on it! He once got bit by a rattlesnake and after 3 days of excruciating pain... that snake died.  We could tell a ton more of  these and there that many & more out there but let's really get down to it. In todays episode we  talk about the legend in his time, Chuck Norris. Specifically we are going to talk a little on his life before movies and then his catalog of 1980's movies. This is my last episode of season one (episode 25) and some might say we saved the greatest action star for last! So look, don't take any chances and become "missing in action" and don't make us get you with that powerful roundhouse kick from chuck, sit back and enjoy hearing about the man, the myth, the legend

What a great time it was to sit down and talk with Patrick Labyorteaux! He was in Little House On The Prairie as Andy Garvey and he was in all 10 seasons of JAG as Lt Bud Roberts Jr. He was in some great comedies in the 80's such as Summer School, Ski School and Heathers and the 3 Ninjas in 1992. He has done voiceover work on the Spiderman cartoon that ran from 1995-1998 and has played bit roles in more tv shows then I can possibly mention here.  He is currently working with people helping them on their way to becoming actors/actresses or voice over artists and you can check that out or even register for a class at www.workingactorsschool.com. Personally I'd love to be a voice over artist and who knows, maybe one day I will have some work out there but until then, just enjoy this interview we had and if you do like it then please rate & review us on iTunes or Spotify if you listen  there. If you watch us on YouTube then subscribe and leave a comment and by all means, please subscribe and follow the audio podcast as I am really looking to grow it to something big we can all love. The bigger I get the more stars we can get to interview for you! =0)

It's 1975, and all you have thought about since the previous summer is going back on vacation to the beach so you can splash around in the waters and have fun. That was on your mind the entire time until.......until you made the mistake of watching the new movie  release of JAWS on the big screen!!!  I was too young to see it at the theaters but I seen it later on as I got older and even then it made me never want to go out in the ocean past my knees in the water. This movie had people screaming in the theaters and i'm not surprised to hear that. Based off a novel by Peter Benchley, a shark is terrorizing a small resort town and it's up to the cheif Martin Brody, marine biologist Matt Hooper and local fisherman Quint to go out and hunt it down.  Watch if you dare , but you will never swim in the ocean again! Just when you thought it was safe to go ack in the water ..... JAWS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love sports movies, always have. Rudy, Remember The Titans, Invincible, all were great good feeling sports movies. But if it's something that I can really appreciate and love just a little bit more, it's a great sports comedy!  There have been some great football and baseball comedies over my lifetime but the best always come from the 1990's.  In todays episode, I am going to go over 10 of my favorite sports comedies from the 90's and if you love the genre like I do then I want you to leave comments for me to let me know what your favorites are as well. Be sure to subscribe to the podcast on both audio and video at Spotify, iTunes, Google, Stitcher, YouTube and here at anchor.fm as well and share us with your friends!  Now let's get to the podcast and talk some sports movies!

Hey everyone! We have been gone for a little while due to my relocation to Tennessee but the show is back and we are ready to go!!!! In this episode we are talking a bit about toys from the 80's and 90's and their relations to TV & movies. A lot of us out there had or wanted the A Team van or the figures, the Knight Industries Two Thousand car (KITT if you prefer).  We wanted the Dukes of Hazzard toys, Star Wars , Star Trek and more but did you know there was other toys out there that just wasnt made available much or was hard to find? Commando released toys of Schwarzenegger's character Matrix. Toys or models from Simon & Simon, Magnum PI & CHiPs. There was so much more t he GI Joes, Transformers and Thundercats to buy of toys from cartoons.  If you were a fan of this growing up then pull up a chair and take a listen as we talk that & then some!

It’s 1984/85 and in my case I am coming home from school, homework is done and cartoons are on. So many to choose from back in that time with G.I. Joe, Transformers, Bravestarr, M.A.S.K. and more but He-Man was one of my favorites! I remember when Dolph Lundgren starred as He-Man is the 80’s movie Masters of The Universe but it was always lacking the story to make any of the fans appreciate it greatly. The story didn’t take place in Eternia, there was no sign of Orko and the sorceres was aged greatly, well today Chris and Travis want to change that. We have included stars of today that we feel can make impressions in the roles we assigned them and we included all you could want and maybe a couple of others!

Let us know what you think of the choices and if you have choices of your own. Follow us here at anchor.fm as well as on Spotify, iTunes, Stitcher, and Google. Follow and subscribe on YouTube and hit that bell notification so you don‘t miss any new episodes!

In today’s episode we discuss the movie franchise Young Guns versus the actual Lincoln county wars. We talk about the similarities yet the many differences as well between the two.while “Young Guns” is definitely one of our all time favorites, the Lincoln County wars in it’s historical accuracy would be a great movie all to itself .

Ask yourself, what make a movie great? Is it just the actors signed on to act out their parts? Id it the effects & lighting crews? Camera men and the many angles they are providing? Maybe its the director's vision that he or she is putting through for us to see or maybe.... just maybe, it's the music selected in the songs and scores that are used for it.

I'm going with all of the above but some of the most memorable things we remember is the music and the scores produced for the movies we love. Today, Chris & Travis are running down 5 of their top musical scores from films that they like while at the same time leaving out all the obvious big ones like Star Wars and Indiana Jones and so on. We hope that you will enjoy the show today as we talk musical scores, please feel free to answer the question of the show down below and let us know on social media and email what you think about the topic as well.
