  we are in Christ. Our true eternal identity is received from God, not

  "My Sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow me."  John 10:27

  Jesus clearly points a relationship, a result, a reason and a response.

  Jesus is speaking to us every day.  In order to hear him, we must approach

  each day with an expectation or anticipation to hear His voice. His voice

  is always speaking, we need to learn to listen to Him.

  In Ezekiel 47 there is a great picture of the vision that God gave Ezekiel

  where he saw a trickle of water oozing out from under the altar coming from

  the Temple in the Millennium Reign. This trickle or stream grew from ankle

  deep water, to knee deep, to waste deep to waters to swim in. This is a

  picture of the presence of God or the Word and Spirit of God. Then the

  river flowed into the Dead Sea and it converted the salt waters to fresh

  waters where fish and life abounded everywhere. God does not want us to be

  a Dead Sea where we have waters flowing in, but nothing flowing out. God

  Return is a family of individuals, returning to what matters; an intimate,

  love relationship with Jesus Christ. Our personal relationship with God,

  through Jesus, is the only thing in life that really matters at the end of

  the day. How do we know if we are loving God with everything we have got?

  By the way, we love others. The Apostle Paul defined love for us really

  well in I Corinthians 13. As we read this scripture can we take an honest

  Man has been eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil since Adam

  and Eve in the garden of Eden. But there was another tree in the garden,

  the Tree of Life, (Jesus Christ). When eating of the tree of knowledge of

  good and evil, man is either stuck in the ditch of lawlessness or the ditch

  of legalism, both lead to death. The good side of the tree may seem right

  unto a man, but the end is always death. Wisdom, the Tree of Life is

  calling out to us to come and eat of Him. If we eat of Jesus and fill our

  hearts with His Word and His Spirit, He will grow in our hearts and lives

  The Holy Spirit is a person and He wants to be your best friend. He is our

  comforter, our helper, our advocate and His main mission is to make us more

  and more like Jesus Christ. The Bible says: For if, when we were enemies,

  we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being

  reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:10 The secret to a

  victorious Christian life is to learn that it is the exchanged life. God

  wants to fill us with the personal presence of the Holy Spirit, so He can

  live His life through us. We shall be saved by His life, means that we can

  give Him our poverty and He will give us His riches, our sadness for His

  joy, our strife for His peace, our unbelief for His belief...

• August 13, 2017Justified To Do Justice

  Jesus justifies us or saves us by faith, but faith without works is dead. A

  real living faith will produce good works. Our society has what is called a

  social gospel, and even though these people are doing good works, no one

  will be saved or justified by serving the vulnerable of our society. But

  since we are saved or justified by faith and we have a relationship with

  God, then we should have a relationship with the vulnerable of society.

  Many people continue to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and

  they think they are saved because they are doing good, but only when

  someone sees their need...

• August 06, 2017Blood - Fire - Water, Our Spiritual Foundation

  God gives us three beautiful graces or gifts to save us, sanctify us, and

  make us whole. The precious blood of Jesus Christ is what redeems us, saves

  us and justifies us. We are saved by the blood, but God also gave the early

  church apostles and believers the gift of the Holy Spirit, and the gift of

  water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Any believer that is washed in

  the blood of Jesus will be saved from the penalty of sin, which is death

  and hell. But if you want to be saved from the power of sin or the presence

  of sin, you also need the Fire and Water. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is

  for all believers and will give them power over sin and power and boldness

  to be a witness for Jesus Christ...

• July 30, 2017Communion

  Communion, intimacy, unity, fellowship with God is found through the broken

  body and the poured out blood of Jesus Christ. Communion is in the

  thanking, the breaking and the giving. God breaks everything about us that

  is not established in a relationship with Him, or we could say that He

  breaks anything about us that tries to find our value, worth or identity

  outside of Christ. We are supposed to partake of communion in remembrance

  of Jesus, and the cross of Calvary. If we can bring to our remembrance

  continually the finished work of Christ at the cross, then it will cause us

  to live gratefully covered by the grace of God instead of pridefully

  independent. We are to take our broken lives...

• July 23, 2017Prayer

  The key to a great relationship with God is prayer, and we all need to

  deepen our prayer life. Prayer should be upward to God, inward with

  confession and repentance and then outward as we pray for others. In Romans

  8 we learn that when we can't pray the right way, the Holy Spirit will pray

  for us, through us and on our behalf. Also, all of our prayers should be in

  the Name of Jesus Christ. This is so much more than just tagging His name

  on the end of our prayers, but rather it is coming to God based upon the

  merits of Jesus’s relationship with His Father instead of based on our own

  merits or good works.
