In this episode, Brian Tellor joins me as I talk about Bushwacking. This is my term for living a life on my terms, without following the railways, highways, secondary roads, or even the dirt roads or hiking trails. I discuss this metaphor or how I envision finding the safety and confidence to live life in a way I was either not taught to, or taught not to!

In this episode, Brian Tellor joins me as I talk about Creativity. This is not about artistic endeavors so much as living outside of the box. Learning yourself, how to identify the things that light your fire, and running with those things. DIversifying your life to include lots of enriching things, instead of just a single career that's supposed to make you happy.

In this episode, Brian Tellor joins me as I talk about expectations. We exist under a heavy load of expectations: societal expectations, cultural expectations, familial expectations, personal expectations. I take a dive into how powerful language is to our minds and our personal authority and agency.

In this episode, Brian Tellor joins me as I talk about trauma. Or, I should say, "my trauma." I'm not an expert with credentials, so I am careful to discuss only my own journey with developmental trauma and acute trauma, trauma adaptations, and trauma healing, including triggers and being triggered, dissociation, and re-inhabiting the body. We also both talk about the trauma of living today, in this society and culture.

In this episode, Brian Tellor joins me as I talk about feeling trapped. At least, that's how my mind and reflexes translate everything bad in my life. This is a bit of a dive into those feelings, what I wanted to get out of. But it's hard to sit in that place, so mostly, I talk about big and little ways to get out of that feeling. The whole process of renaturing is to do this, of course, but choice, language, movement, nature, and connection can all help at the moment.

In this episode, Brian Tellor joins me as I talk about the body. The false dualism of how our body is separate, a biological vehicle for our minds. I talk a bit about my journey from ignoring my body until I got my own chronic illness to reconnecting my whole organism. There's some talk about pain, our microbiome and how we are a superorganism, and a little suggestion to start to get in touch with your own body.

In this episode, Brian Tellor joins me as I talk about Freedom. These concepts, Renaturing, Freedom, are hard to talk about. I'm all over the place, discussing what freedom feels like, and how renaturing brings that feeling. I pull in the ideas of Daoism, enlightenment, integrity, and truth.

In this episode, Brian Tellor joins me as I talk about Renaturing. This is the word I use for the process of rebuilding ourselves. Pulling ourselves back together after a lifetime of denaturing at the hands of society, culture, trauma, and fitting in as appropriate and acceptable. Renaturing includes mother nature, animal nature, human nature, and our true nature or core nature. It is wholeness, a living yin yang, boundaries, instincts, respect, and learning from other types of nature.

In this episode, Brian Tellor joins me as I talk about me, my journey to now, and the basis of my work. I talk a bit about my childhood and chronic illness in my family. And I touch on a ton of topics: Nature vs. Nurture, personality, trauma adaptations, being a "good girl," mental health, connection with my body and other people, regenerative farming, imposter syndrome, feeling trapped, freedom. Oh, and renaturing, the term I use for coming back home, to ourselves, our true nature, and walking our own paths in life.
