This Sunday, we begin our new teaching series: Encounters with Jesus with guest speaker Alicia Lee, an elder at Lower Manhattan Community Church. Alicia shares the story of King Nebuchadnezzar and his encounter with Jesus in the book of Daniel, and what the story could mean for us as we try to follow Jesus in New York City.

This Sunday, we continue to set the stage around the theme of discipleship, asking ourselves where exactly are we right now in our journey of discipleship, while at the same time naming where it is we want to be.

For our Christmas service, Russel shares how the Christmas story of Jesus is about the idea of an unconditional love that goes to the margins becomes real. Jesus comes to Earth to love all people, and through that, that we may also embody the love of Jesus to our neighbors.
