1) Seek God’s Word! What God says should outweigh what you see, what others say and what you think!

2) What God puts in your hand, do what He says with it! What you actually say and do matters more than what you say you believe! God doesn’t reward or respond to good intentions but to intentional actions.

3) What God tells you to do — keep doing it with consistency. “People who accomplish great things generally do consistently what others do occasionally.”

Where you have been disappointed? Where you have been discouraged? Where you’ve been drifting?

You rarely drift to your desired destination. You almost always drift to a dangerous place. You must lay anchors in your daily life!

1. God’s Presence

2. God’s Promises

3. God’s People

4. God’s Purposes for Your Life.

In order for the Word of God to “work” — to operate in your life; and to reach its intended purpose/destination…. It has to be activated!

The Word of God has the Truth of God in it, however it has to be activated for you to experience that Truth!

The Word is activated by action - a response, meaning you have to do something. If there is no action, there will be no activation.

What does the Supremacy of Christ mean? Quote: The supremacy of Christ means that “In all these areas of consideration, Jesus ranks as the ultimate or supreme — supreme in power, rank, glory, authority, and importance." - RC Sproul

How do we make Jesus Christ not just our savior (And that very important), but also our Lord?

You can’t think of Jesus your Lord without thinking of him as your savior. You also can’t think of Him as your savior without recognizing him as your Lord. You can’t have one without the other!

Creation in our world and in the universe reveals God's power and nature to those who are willing to see it. We understand that God created everything by faith — and only by divine power can something come from nothing. Our stellar God is the answer to when and how time began!

How we see the Father is perhaps THE MOST significant concept where there is power, potential, and promise, and thus we can expect opposition. The enemy works overtime to get us to think that God is distant, heavy handed, unfair, uncaring. How we see God doesn’t change who He is, but is greatly affects our ability to:

1) Relate to Him and 2) Receive from Him

Good fathers are providers but not enablers.

Good fathers are present, not passive.

Good fathers are protectors but are not over-protective or controlling.

Jesus is the big brother that came searching for us, to bring us back to the royal family of God! He rejoices over each of us when we “come to our senses” and come back the the Father!

More than just the music before the sermon, worship is a key way we show our love and gratitude to the Lord for what He has done in our lives. There are many ways we can worship God. Worshipping through music in song is one of the most clear and important ways. Our worship is to and for God, but there are blessings to obeying everything God calls us to do.

The clear takeaway should be this: God is serious about stewardship! Stewardship: the conducting, supervising, or managing of something, especially the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care.

Be encouraged today! God has set us free from our past and He has a good future for us. But we need to let the "past" stay in the past, and press forward with enthusiasm to what He has in front of us!
