Happy Mother's DayThere is something to be said about the love of a mother.We have heard of stories where mothers have lifted cars in order to protect their young. There are references made to Momma Bear and Tiger Moms that suggest there is no wavering when it comes to a mother protecting her young. that gift of honoring life is to be acknowledged today.Thank God for mothers,Rev LeonProverbs 31:28-31

Who do we see when we see you? Who are you really? What are the drivers behind how you show up in the world?When Jesus was preparing the disciples for his departure, Philip asked to be shown God. Jesus was taken aback in that he believed that after spending all of this time together, Philip would have seen Jesus as the expression of God.In that same light, who might you be the expression of? Who might we say we see when we see you? What might there be to be believed when we choose to follow and/or support you? Jesus was the expression of God in this life. What is your life expression?When we realize that we can be God’s expression in this life, things become different. We can embody and disperse the presence of God. We live in a “hook up” society. There is always a desire to get the best deal, price or work around. There are those who even believe that there are “hook ups” for spiritual matters. Believe it or not, many of us continually barter with God hoping to get a deal as opposed to working within the prescribed context presented by God. When we choose to follow the directives of spirit, we can experience the abundance of life and enjoy all of the benefits that come with living a full authentically spiritual life. When your car wears out the tires unevenly, or it drifts to one side while driving, you probably need a wheel alignment. This is an easily identified issue that can be corrected. Is it any different when we have a misalignment between our heads and heart? In Psalm 19:14, it reads, Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to you Lord.These words spell out our mandate quite clearly. Our stated values may or may not match our lives. This misalignment is corrected by being responsible for a true heart and head connection that reflects God's will for our lives.God bless,Rev Leon

When we accept and adopt the ways of Jesus the Christ, we are choosing to be lights in the world. As lights, we are charged with transforming dark places with our lights. In those settings, we bring integrity into a space that may not know about light. With your light, you can transform the world with one light encounter at a time.God bless,Rev LeonEphesians 5:8-14

There is much to be lifted out of the story of Jesus with the woman at the well. Not only was she transformed for her own life, she became an ambassador for the work of Jesus in her village.
