When the Assad regime fell in Syria, Israel began to move very quickly. Left-wing pundits quickly began to accuse Israel of invading Syria, using the opportunity to attack yet another country, and some even blamed Israel for the fall of Assad’s regime. Many were wondering why Israel viewed the fall of Syria as a good thing for the region when the conquering rebels have the possibility of being an even worse dictator than Assad was.  Meanwhile, Israel was making some very quiet, fast, stunning, calculated, and brilliant moves.
