There are seven things in the Bible that God loves and one of them is a cheerful giver (2 Cor 9:7). God is love and has a bountiful eye. The word bountiful means ‘generous of bestowing gifts or favors’ (Merriam Webster). The Lord was most generous with His only begotten son, Jesus, the most generous gift of all. Generosity is really a key to fruitfulness and a harvest of righteousness. In the Kingdom realm, generosity is the ingredient to attack the lack in our lives and is the opposite of withholding like the world displays. Pentecost is a day where the Holy Spirit came like a rushing wind with power to baptize the disciples for the work of the ministry. Denise Goulet shares how in the Greek, pneuma means breath. It’s the breath of God that brings life transformation because it entwines your spirit with the Holy Spirit. God breathed into Adam the “breath of life”. Jesus breathed on the disciples to bring the fresh wind, the pneuma breath of God. The pneuma breath is a life-giving spirit that empowers you to live a supernatural life just like Jesus and His disciples. Regardless of what she looked like or what she didn’t have, Jesus saw her. He saw her past, He saw her present he saw her future, but most importantly, He saw her heart.
