The anointing breaks the yoke of bondage (Isaiah 10:27), but why is the anointing so costly? Sometimes, we all value something more than a relationship with Jesus; however, the cost to follow Jesus and receive His anointing in our lives can be difficult and even a lack of understanding. The anointing is a loan from Heaven and it only increases when you use it! To trust His Word rather than man’s word is extremely important! The cost of the anointing is pure devotion and humility, with Jesus at the center of our lives. 

The older we get, the question we should continuously ask ourselves is if we are learning to love?  Bob Jones once said, “we are not born great lovers, but we learn to love.” There were at least six occurrences where different people were sitting at the feet of Jesus. The extravagant worshipper is forgiven and redeemed by love. The extravagant worshipper wasn’t forgiven for her love, but instead her love was evidence that she had been forgiven. 

Christianity is not about you! Denise Goulet hosts Natalia Casiano, the Youth Director at International Church of Las Vegas, but also a young woman that is spreading like wildfire throughout the younger generation of Christian influencers. In the Passion Translation, Proverbs 4:21-23 says, “Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being. So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life.” Our hearts include our thoughts, our will, our discernment, and our affections. Denise and Natalia discuss repentance and how as Christians, we are continuously needing to check our hearts. Rain symbolizes healing, provision, blessing, and harvest; but most importantly it’s an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
