In Revelation Chapter 4, everything shifts. After addressing the churches on Earth, Jesus invites the Apostle John to "Come up here!"—giving him (and us) a glimpse into Heaven’s throne room and a preview of future events. This moment marks a pivotal point in Bible prophecy, and many believe it represents the Rapture, which is the moment Jesus returns to rescue His followers and take them to Heaven.

But when will the Rapture happen? And where will Christians be during the seven years of intense suffering known as the Tribulation? Well, there are three major views of the Rapture’s timing:

🚀 Pre-Tribulation – Jesus returns before the chaos begins. ⏰ Mid-Tribulation – Jesus returns midway through the suffering. 🔥 Post-Tribulation – Jesus returns after the Tribulation ends.

The good news is, no matter what view you hold, all Christ Followers end up in Heaven! That said, there is solid support for the Pre-Trib view.

Revelation 4 offers a few clues that support the Pre-Trib view:1️⃣After Chapter 4, the Church disappears. It’s not mentioned again until Chapter 22. Where did it go? Heaven! 2️⃣ The trumpet call and command “Come up here!” are similar to the Rapture details described in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18.

3️⃣ The Open Door in Heaven is a unique invitation for the Church to come up to meet Jesus.4️⃣ Believers will return with Christ in Revelation 19—so we must already be in Heaven!

The Rapture will happen in the blink of an eye, and believers will be instantly transformed—with new, glorified bodies that won’t get sick or tired. Instantly we’ll be standing in perfection, ready to live forever with Jesus! 

Reflecting on the Rapture raises a powerful question: Are you ready? Because when Christ returns, true believers will be taken, and the rest will be left wondering, What just happened? This isn’t just a prophecy—it’s a wake-up call. The Rapture is imminent. Jesus says: “Ready or not… HERE I COME!”
