J. Warner Wallace is a cold-case homicidedetective, adjunct professor of apologetics at BiolaUniversity, Christian case maker and author. J. Warner was aconscientious and vocal atheist through his undergraduate andgraduate work in Design and Architecture (CSULB and UCLA); healways considered himself to be an “evidentialist”. His experiencein law enforcement only served to strengthen his conviction thattruth is tied directly to evidence. But at the age of thirty-five,J. Warner took a serious and expansive look at the evidence for theChristian Worldview and determined that Christianity wasdemonstrably true. After becoming a Christ follower in 1996, Jimcontinued to take an evidential approach to truth as he examinedthe Christian worldview. He eventually earned a Master’s Degree inTheological Studies from Golden Gate Baptist TheologicalSeminary.
J. Warner served as a Youth Pastor for several years, thenplanted a church in 2006. Along the way, he created and builtthe Cold-Case Christianitywebsite, blog and podcast as a place to postand talk about what he discovered related to the evidencesupporting Christianity. Jim has appeared on television andradio, explaining the role that evidence plays in the Christiandefinition of “faith” and defending the historicity of Jesus, thereliability of the Bible and the truth of the Christian worldview.Jim also speaks at churches, retreats and camps as he seeks to helppeople become confident Christian case makers. J. Warner’s firstbook, Cold-Case Christianity, provides readers with tenprinciples of cold case investigations and utilizes theseprinciples to examine the reliability of the gospel eyewitnessaccounts. In his second book, God’s Crime Scene, heinvestigates eight pieces of evidence in the universe to make thecase for God’s existence.
