Review Without A Cause

I am back and I have watched The Odyssey. What qualifies me to critique this movie? I watched Troy once and had a Percy Jackson phase like every red blooded teenager. Tune in to hear me talk about this sword and sandals movie and how it might just be the first of its kind, but don´ get too comfortable because I also bring trivia and a strong opinion on Nolan´s screenwriting.

Expect mispronounced Greek names, me running out of breath every sentence and the comparison between Anne Hathaway and a dog suffering from cataracts....

Michael has hit theaters and it is already one of the highest grossing films of the year. Do we criticize this sanitized version of Michael Jackson´s story or do we buy into it and let ourselves get lost in a world of great choreography and Twister playing monkeys? Tune in to hear more about the real Jackson family, the differences between the movie and real life and how Michael´s story could have been told differently.

Finally my most awaited show of the year is out and it almost makes me forget about the atrocities happening in the world right now. This episode is a long one so grab yourself a nice tea and cuddle up on your bay window overlooking your country estate. We are discussing everything about The Other Bennet Sister, including the significance of the story, how inspiring Mary actually is and of course Mr. Hayward´ s yearning soul.

This week I bring you something a little bit different, I basically vomit all over your feet the concept of new shows coming out this month.

In this episode I break down the main reason why streaming services are releasing so much good shit right now and the series I am most excited about. Listen to me admire the star studded casts of some of these shows and my white boy of the month: Dónal Finn

After having to re-record this episode three times I can safely say I don´ t find it to have sentimental value to me *pause for laughs*. However the Oscars are this Sunday and I want you to know what is up with this Norwegian intimate feature film. Tune in to listen to me praise the performances and the filmography of this quiet, personal story while I open your eyes to the world of generational pattern breaking.

The very controversial adaptation of Emily Brontë´s book is out now and boy, do we all have an opinion about it. Although we can agree on one thing, that slutty gold hoop earring Jacob Elordi is wearing is mesmerizing. Tune in to listen to me compliment the sets and wardrobe while I give you an introduction to Emily Brontë and how much of an anxious freak she was. RIP Emily, you would have loved AO3

Since I couldn´ t decide on one topic, I bring you two for the price of one. You want to find out what films are nominated this year and what the hell they are about? I got you! You want to be frustrated with me about the fact that Bridgerton cannot recognize an Asian woman with a light Australian accent to save his life? I got you. Tune in for all of that and more

The awaited sequel of Wicked is here and it brings back your favourite characters: Glinda, Elphaba and the reminder that you are an untalented individual and will never amount to anything during your lifetime. In this episode I go into the details of why this movie turned out the way it did and I sing the praises (no pun intended) of Ariana Grande Butera.

A hot new show just dropped and it has me clawing at the bars of my enclosure. Listen to me explain the concept of MM romances and why they are so key for a female audience while actively trying not to discuss Ilya Rozanov´ s glutes. Go Hockey!

In this episode I tell you all about Mary Shelley and her tragic life while somehow insulting her husband at every turn. I share my opinion on the movie and I attempt to answer the question "Why is Gothic so hot right now?"
