(yappity-yap-yap warning: I talk pretty fast, so you may want to slow down the episode just a tiny bit... ok, maybe a lot)
apologies for not uploading this sooner, this album came out the day before I went on vacation, and just a few days after spotify for podcaster did a huge update, which took the in-app recording features away. unfortunately, this made it hard to record in one day, so I had to postpone it. this episode was also originally going to be recorded with wishpool, but since our schedules didn't really line up that day, we just listened to the new album and recorded our ratings of the tracks in a notes document, so hopefully you still get some good episode content out of that! another thing you may notice- no more intro music! I know, very sad, since I do love my intro music very much, but since I recorded this in my voice memos app (with my microphone, so hopefully the quality was improved, and if not, sorry!), there was no way I could have added intro music. but, hopefully, you guys still enjoy this episode. :)
also, I shared my story of how I became a onerepublic fan! sorry for getting so, so, SO off-topic when I explained my story, but I hope you guys get a basic understanding of how much I love them 🫶. long story short (if you don't want to listen to me yap about my long obsession with onerepublic), I became a onerepublic fan in 2017 when my mom listened to "counting stars", and my obsession has been growing since.
question of the day: what is your favorite hobby? for me, it's either collecting CDs or reading/writing (though I prefer reading since my writing and grammar skills get thrown out the window sometimes).
bonus question of the day (for my listeners who are onerepublic fans): what is your favorite song from the new album?
and finally, a bonus bonus question of the day: sabrina carpenter's new album, short and sweet, is coming out in late august. would you guys like me to review the album when it comes out on friday, august 23?
hope you guys enjoyed this long-overdue episode, and have a wonderful day! ❤️
