KL is blessed with so many pockets of post-war shophouses that are just begging for some love or to be repurposed into something that all KL-ites can benefit from. Jalan Doraisamy was the benefit of this when it was transformed into a nightlife hotspot in the early Noughties but more than a decade on, it has languished somewhat.
