Halloween originated as a pagan festival and it was celebrated by the Celts back in the day! Here is a more comprehensive review but let me share with you some thoughts on Halloween vs Reformation Day!

The Bible says that we are believers are not to have fellowship with darkness and we need to abstain from all appearance of evil ( 1 The 5:22) No matter how we want to justify it or beautify it, this is a holiday where witches and Satan worshippers come together and they celebrate it. They look forward to this day and some of them fast and pray throughout the day and practice their rituals and even offer sacrifices on Halloween eve! Instead of celebrating death and fear, we should be celebrating reformation and revival! Oct 31st, 1517 was the date when Marty Luther posted 95 theses on the door of the Church Castle and exposed the evil and false teaching of the Catholic Church back in those days. It was the day when the protestant movement began and there was a great revival of enlightenment all across Germany and Europe! As a result, there was great reformation! As believers, we need to celebrate revival and reformation and SAY NO to Halloween. We hope you enjoy this episode today.
