Sometimes, even if you have a burden to share Jesus with others, you may hesitate because you wonder if you know enough to share.  You may fear your faith isn’t rock-solid enough to defend it to doubters.  And you can wonder how to share the word with someone if you’re not an expert in it yet.  But today, Pastor John will encourage you to remember it doesn’t have to be eloquent or perfect.  Just begin. Share what God has done in your own life.   They’ll see your changed heart.

Like the woman at the well, many today seek solace, purpose, and happiness from the world around them.  But, in the end, nothing ever fully satisfies, and you end up feeling just as empty as you began.   Today, Pastor John will encourage you to seek after God to fulfill all your desires, and He will fill you to overflowing.  He will give you blessings that all the money, power, relationships, and pleasure can never give.  And He’ll give you eternal life! Jesus didn’t have to walk through Samaria.  He could’ve gone around the region like so many religious Jews.  Yet, as Pastor John teaches today, Jesus was under divine compulsion to go where He went.  He obediently went where the Father directed, and because of that, he touched and saved many souls.  He went through Samaria, and though weary and worn out, He had a divine and life-saving encounter with a woman at a well.  Are you willing to go where God sends you?  Seek His guidance and ask for strength to be obedient.

There’s a temptation to seek or at least desire the power, privilege, and notoriety that comes from ministry and leadership, even among faithful believers .  And if you have all of those things, you many hold on tighter to them than to Jesus.  So today, Pastor John will encourage you to hold loosely to the worldly benefits that come with serving Him.  Don’t covet another’s gifts, abilities, and successes.  And above all, in all you do, point everyone to Jesus and not yourself.  He’s the giver of all gifts and abilities!

From the moment sin entered the world, humanity was broken and lost to the enemy.  But God.  He created man, and He still longed to be with Him.  And though He couldn’t overlook or ignore sin, He did create a divine plan to save humanity from sin and bring them to Heaven.  Today, Pastor John teaches about God’s great work of salvation.  Because of His great love, He sent Jesus to earth to save everyone who’d believe in Him.  It is indeed good news.  You’re not eternally lost if you’ve put your faith in Christ!

Many religious leaders of Jesus’ day felt Jesus was there only to tell them they were evil sinners.  They felt they were good, and Jesus simply condemned them for no reason.  However, as Pastor John teaches today, Jesus didn’t come to condemn, but to save sinners.  He didn’t come to point out sin but to show you how to live as God desires and save you when you fail.  By putting your faith in Him, you will be saved from the condemnation that existed in the world from the first sin.

Man’s greatest need in life is to have his sins forgiven.  He can’t do himself, nor is it something he can earn.   But it is the one thing necessary for him to go to Heaven.  Today, Pastor John will explain how you must be born again and have a spiritual rebirth to be saved.  It doesn’t matter if you’re from a religious family, or if you are very religious; you’re not eternally saved and part of God’s kingdom unless you put your faith and trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins.

Many religious people do the tasks required of them, ignoring the fact that their faith is not right.  And often, even the tasks become tainted by sin and selfishness.  Today, Pastor John reminds you that Jesus sees and knows your heart.  He understands the reason you do religious things.  He knows the condition of your faith.  And, like He cleansed the sin out of the temple, He wants to come in and cleanse you too.  Will you let Him convict, cleanse and transform you? He’ll change you in the best way!

You may have been told it’s not ok to be angry. Yet, the bible clearly declares that Jesus got angry.  So, it’s ok to be angry.  But, His was a righteous and sinless anger.  Today, Pastor John teaches that Jesus had a zeal for God and a desire that His name is honored.  When there is sin, when God isn’t honored, it’s ok to be angry.  Be angry at the sin and at Satan and what that sin is doing in the world.  Allow it to motivate you to work for God’s good in the world. But don’t allow your anger to stem from selfish and sinful motives.
