Our world is full of evil and sin today, and it can often be difficult  to trust that God is in control over all things.  After all, sin is celebrated, and evil is everywhere you look.  Yet, today, Pastor John will encourage you not to despair.  God is sovereign and in control, despite what you may see around you.  He has demonstrated this over and over again in scripture.  He uses even pagan kings and kingdoms for his sovereign purpose.  His plan and eternal purpose will prevail.  Do not despair.
