You may be surprised at just how much of a pandemic the occultic Christian life is. It's a dark, sinister strategy millions of Believers use to avoid having their secret life exposed.

Porn, anger, alcoholism, lust, impure relationships, immoral media and so much more are hidden safely under their public masks, and the enemy is ready to destroy them if they don't tear down the veils and repent.

I'm going to address two types of Christians:

Many Christians presume their "bold devotion to truth" gives them license to be rude, uncaring, not honoring, mean spirited, arrogant, dismissive, mocking or flat out mean.

Other Christians are so afraid of hurting someone's feelings that they are passive, weak, timid and they refuse to go to battle for anything if someone might be unsettled by it.

Transitioning a Church to a House of Prayer - Why it Rarely Works...and Why it's a Powerful Move...

The amount of dysfunction regarding ministry, identity and motive in Christians and ministers today is troubling.

The topic of this podcast will touch every single Christian alive, including yourself. Why do you (or don't you) minister? What is your motive?

If all ministry was taken from you, would you still be full of life and joy? Or, is your identity wrapped up in what you do or in what you enjoy doing?

Further, so much of what we see in churches today is absolutely unnecessary. Why do pastors keep adding in these programs, activities and focuses? Why don't they zero in on the main thing? What if half the people left the church and took their money with them? Would the leader and those who remain still be full of joy, knowing nobody can stop them from moving the way God has called them to? Or would they spin out and get depressed?

The church has largely surrendered the mantle of prophet in favor of the title of salesman.

Everything from Christian rock to seeker sensitive ministries has resulted in a lukewarm stew that will soon be vomited out of God's mouth.

Music wasn't intended for evangelism. The church service isn't an evangelistic tool. We need to increase the fire, reintroduce holiness and let those who aren't interested in Jesus to walk. Too many have wrapped Jesus up in pretty wrapping paper and wrapped him with a bow, hoping people will deem him interesting and exciting enough to follow. This is a serious violation and a blight on the church. 

In today's podcast I discuss two barriers to breakthrough that many people don't consider:

1. They should not pursue full-time ministry, or they should leave full-time ministry. They aren't graced for it.

2. They need to move to a new region. Their next assignment may be located hundreds or thousands of miles away.

Instead of celebrating repentance, many Christians are rejecting the confession of people like Benny Hinn, claiming they are "discerning" the truth beyond the surface. There is no biblical gift of discernment. What they are most often operating from is a gift of suspicion, and you know where that gift comes from.
