Today on Robert’s Corner, I have the most special guest I ever had on the podcast: my fiancée, Joann. She tells her experience living in Korea during the outbreak of Covid-19 and her voyage back. It’s a story that runs deep with me. I am so happy she is back home and also that she agreed to be on the podcast today.

Goodbye for now from Revive Ministries Podcast. Thank you for listening.
Welcome to Revive Ministries Podcast! Today I share a little more about my story of recovery--but this time, I share in more detail the turning point situations in my life that were monumental in where I am now personally in my recovery.
"Live life as though nobody is watching and express yourself as though everyone is listening."
- Nelson Mandela
I dive into a year before moving to Florida to now. I share what insight I have learned and how I have grown along the way.
It's a shorter version of the My Story series, but an appropriate one. The first episode of My Story series was my personal story, covering chronologically where I have been and now.
Knowing that my original My Story episode spanned decades, I decide to hone in a more concentrated story of a short segment, which ties storytelling with insightful lessons I have learned along the way.
Periodically I may share a more focused story and insight into my journey through recovery, which will continue to develop as time continues.

Revive Ministries Podcast is being ambitious to have three episodes of content a week: one My Story and two Roberts Corner episodes.

Today on Robert’s Corner, we have a special returning guest: Pastor Sebastian Lopez. We talk about “community” and how Covid-19 has impacted all of us globally. We dive into how being creative and intentional is key in staying connected. Also, we talk about how the phrase “social distancing” may send the wrong message--therefore, we stress it is only “physical distancing.” Our ability to connect with technology is very real and vital to remember. Finally, we touch on fear and many other things that impact us as we all face this Covid-19 together as a global community.

Welcome to Robert's Corner shorter segment! Today I dive into how listening can help our connections through this Covid-19 crisis. Being genuine now is especially important since there is a lot of suspicion and uncertainty with this looming global epidemic. With this Covid-19, we all play a part and we need each other more now, despite the social distancing restrictions. We need to be intentional with each other.
Connect with support groups locally or make your own.
