Welcome to Revive Ministries Podcast. This month marks a new year for those listening today, which may mean several things entering into 2025—including healing. I ask the question, am I allowed to take steps in getting better? This month’s theme is entitled “A Brave Healing,” which focuses on a deeper conversation that may lead us to the question “Is it better to appear like one is doing well or actually doing well”? Today we have a new guest, Maurice Carroll, to assist us in discussing this area while also sharing their own story along the way.

“In the past, censorship worked by blocking the flow of information. In the twenty first century, censorship works by flooding people with irrelevant information … In ancient times having power meant having access to data. Welcome to Revive Ministries Podcast. This month’s theme is “Remembering Our Story, Finding Hope,” which can be a positive step toward reminding ourselves of what we have endured and learned.
As we head closer to the end of the year, we may find the temptation to compare our lives generally to the lives around us. From my experience, this only discredits the experiences one has faced and can make it harder to remember the lessons we may have endured.
This time of year can be a hard time for many people, as we may reflect on those who are no longer with us today.
This month I would like to encourage those who are struggling around this time of year to find a community to connect with. If you are in need, please ask for help.
Today we will be discussing this topic with Sean Robinson.

Welcome to Revive Ministries Podcast. This month’s theme is “Building a Home”, which can mean many different things to those connecting during this time of year.
It could mean an extra placemat for a family member who has recently passed. It can also be a loud silence of lost relationships for those left behind. It can be a fresh start for those trying to move forward and a painful reminder of a past that no longer exists. It can mean healing and community for those who are brave enough to ask for help. It can also be a reminder of the importance of home.
This month I would like to remind those who are around this time of year to find a community to connect to and if it gets overwhelming, please ask for help
