My father is in the police.
So growing up, waiting was normal for me.
Waiting for him to come home.
Waiting to sit with him. Waiting to talk.
I never questioned it. I knew his duty was important.
From him, I learned patience.
I learned how to understand without saying much.
How to be okay with less time.
How to not always say what I need.
Not because he didn’t love me.
But because this is what his life looks like.
This episode is about that silence I learned.
And how, now, I am slowly learning to express more… without losing that patience he gave me.
