Are you politically free but emotionally imprisoned? Financially free but spiritually bound? In this Independence Day weekend message, Pastor Slater Johnson challenges us to look past the fireworks and flags and ask the harder question: am I actually free?
True freedom isn't found in political independence — it's found in spiritual liberation through Jesus Christ. From John 8:36, "Whom the Son sets free is free indeed," this message unpacks what Christ's freedom really means: freedom from the penalty of sin, freedom from the power of sin, and freedom for a life of love.
You'll also learn five ways to walk out that freedom like Jesus did — through repentance and faith, forgiveness, renouncing the enemy's lies, walking in authority, and receiving the Father's blessing. Because avoidance is not deliverance, unforgiveness is a prison, and you cannot walk into your future while dragging your yesterday behind you.
