This week on Rhyme & Reason, Dr. Barry welcomes Russell Levine! Russell is currently the Director of Business Development for Archstone Behavioral Health and has been sober for 17 years. Additionally, he worked in the music industry for two decades before he ended up finding his own personal recovery. This week on Rhyme and Reason, we are honored to welcome Ali Kessler. Last year, Ali's son Greyson, was tragically killed by his father during a mental health crisis. In the past year, Ali has worked tirelessly to pass legislation to protect children. Greyson's Law is her son's legacy. She also founded GreysonsChoice.Org as a resource for other families in similar situations.

Josh is a person in long term recovery who felt the calling change careers after 20 years in order to create a new space for members of our community to get sober. In 2015 he co-founded Seacrest Recovery Center in Florida, and since then has expanded to locations in 3 additional states. To this day, Josh continues to work a program, attend meetings, and share the message with newcomers. Tune in to hear his story; both personally and professionally.

He is also an attorney who has practiced criminal defense for the past 25 years. He and Barry will be discussing mental health, jail release programs, and charitable contributions. Kenny is the co-founder of IntheRooms.com, an online resource center for people struggling with addiction and an interactive blog for members of the community. We will be discussing what inspired Kenny to co-create this space for us, and listening in on his own personal recovery experience.

This week on Rhyme and Reason, we are excited to welcome Marc Kantor! Marc first found the world of recovery in 2004 while getting treated for prescription abuse and addiction. In 2014 he began training to become an interventionist and summarily earned his credentials as a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP) that same year. He later founded South Florida Intervention and wrote the book "How to Do an Intervention: A Step by Step Guide for Parents." He is currently a member of the National Association for Treatment Providers (NAATP) and Association of Intervention Professionals. Tune in to learn why this work is so important and the best routes of action for helping your loved one(s).

This week on Rhyme and reason, we are excited to feature Charity Hair! Charity began her career as a runway fashion model and as a result was able to travel the world. After over a decade of modeling, she got his first record deal in 1999. She has shared stages with Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Alanis Morrisette. In 2019 Charity found her way into the rooms of alcoholics anonymous and began her journey of recovery. When the pandemic began in 2020, she noticed a decline in her cognitive function despite living a life free of drugs and alcohol. She was later diagnosed with ADHD and has since found a passion in life coaching and advocacy work for other women with undiagnosed or late diagnosed ADHD.
