Story Transcript:
Cy: Arogl coffi wedi’i rostio’n ffres oedd yn llenwi’r ystafell yng nghaffi poblogaidd yng Nghaerdydd.
En: The aroma of freshly roasted coffee filled the room in the popular café in Caerdydd.
Cy: Roedd y goleuadau meddal yn rhoi awyrgylch braf i’r lle, tra bod pobl wedi ymgynnull wrth y byrddau pren mawr.
En: The soft lighting gave the place a pleasant atmosphere, while people gathered around the large wooden tables.
Cy: Trwy’r ffenestri mawr, roedd golwg glir ar stryd fywiog y ddinas, oedd yn brysur hyd yn oed yn y gwanwyn.
En: Through the big windows, there was a clear view of the city's lively street, which was busy even in the spring.
Cy: Roedd Rhys eisoes wedi cyrraedd ac yn eistedd wrth un o’r byrddau ger y ffenestr.
En: Rhys had already arrived and was sitting at one of the tables near the window.
Cy: Ceisiodd ymlacio, ond roedd pwysau disgwyl ei deulu’n drwm ar ei ysgwyddau.
En: He tried to relax, but the expectation of his family weighed heavily on his shoulders.
Cy: Roedd ystyried y symud i fflat llai ar ei rieni, ac roedd angen ei gefnogaeth arno.
En: He was considering the move to a smaller flat for his parents, and they needed his support.
Cy: Yn fuan daeth Carys a Dylan i mewn, gan gymeradwyo’r caffi gyda'u gwên ar eu gwynebau.
En: Soon, Carys and Dylan came in, approving of the café with smiles on their faces.
Cy: Ar ôl eu cyfarch, daeth y tri ohonyn nhw at ei gilydd, gyda phob un yn gyrru eu llygaid ar y coffi cynnes o’u mlaenau.
En: After greeting each other, the three of them came together, each one casting their eyes on the warm coffee before them.
Cy: "Felly, beth yw'r sefyllfa?
En: "So, what's the situation?"
Cy: " gofynnodd Carys, yn taflu golwg gyflym ar Rhys a Dylan.
En: asked Carys, casting a quick glance at Rhys and Dylan.
Cy: "Mae Mam a Dad eisiau symud o'r tŷ," atebodd Rhys yn dawel.
En: "Mam a Dad want to move out of the house," Rhys answered quietly.
Cy: "Maen nhw eisiau fflat llai, rhywbeth sy’n fwy ymarferol i’w oed.
En: "They want a smaller flat, something more practical for their age."
Cy: "Roedd Carys yn sefyll yn eistedd, ei llygaid yn llawn o deimladau cymysg.
En: Carys sat still, her eyes filled with mixed feelings.
Cy: "Ond codi yr oedd ein cartref," meddai hi.
En: "But that's where our home was," she said.
Cy: "Rydym wedi cael ein hatgofion yno.
En: "We have made our memories there."
Cy: "Cwynodd Dylan.
En: Dylan sighed.
Cy: "A phryd fyddan nhw'n ei symud eu stwff i gyd?
En: "And when will they move all their stuff?
Cy: Mae'n brosiect mawr, Rhys.
En: It's a big project, Rhys."
Cy: "Gwyddai Rhys yr oedd yn mynd i fod yn anodd.
En: Rhys knew it was going to be difficult.
Cy: Ond roedd ganddo un stori, un atgof, y gobeithiai fyddai’n gwneud gwahaniaeth.
En: But he had one story, one memory, that he hoped would make a difference.
Cy: "Rwy'n cofio'r lloches y tu allan i’r tŷ," dechreuodd Rhys.
En: "I remember the shelter outside the house," Rhys began.
Cy: "Pan oeddwn i'n fach, Dad wnaeth adeiladu swyddfa fechan yno.
En: "When I was little, Dad built a small office there.
Cy: Roedd hi'n rhywle y mae oed mae i mi.
En: It was somewhere that meant so much to me.
Cy: Hyd yn oed pan roedd hi'n annoddefol i fod yno gyda'r tywydd gwyntog, roeddwn i'n teimlo’n ddiogel.
En: Even when it was unbearable to be there with the windy weather, I felt safe."
Cy: "Stopiodd, gan edrych i lygaid ei chwaer a'i frawd.
En: He stopped, looking into the eyes of his sister and brother.
Cy: "Ond y diogelwch ddim o’r walau, ond oherwydd Dad," parhaodd Rhys.
En: "But the safety wasn’t from the walls, it was because of Dad," Rhys continued.
Cy: "Mae lle yn bwysig, ond mwy yw ein gilydd.
En: "Place is important, but more is each other."
Cy: "Araf daeth tawelwch ar yr ystafell wrth i Carys a Dylan feddwl am eiriau Rhys.
En: Gradually, silence fell over the room as Carys and Dylan pondered Rhys' words.
Cy: "Mae'n rhaid i ni feddwl am beth sy'n dod yn well iddyn nhw," meddai Carys yn olaf, gyda chytundeb yn ei llais.
En: "We need to think about what’s best for them," Carys finally said, agreement in her voice.
Cy: Cododd Dylan ei gwpan coffi.
En: Dylan raised his coffee cup.
Cy: "Byddwn ni’n gadael iddyn nhw symud, ac edrychwn ar ffyrdd i gadw'r atgofion yn fyw.
En: "We'll let them move, and we'll look for ways to keep the memories alive."
Cy: "Roedd Rhys yn teimlo rhyddhad a llawenydd.
En: Rhys felt relief and joy.
Cy: Gyda’i gilydd, cytunon nhw i gynorthwyo eu rhieni, tra’n canfod ffyrdd i gadw enaid y cartref yr oeddent wedi ei garu.
En: Together, they agreed to support their parents while finding ways to keep the spirit of the home they loved alive.
Cy: A chyn hir, cododd Rhys gwpan ei goffi, y tri ohonyn nhw’n cyflwyno toasts i’r dyfodol - un oedd yn ymarferol a llawn o gariad teuluol.
En: And soon, Rhys raised his coffee cup, the three of them making toasts to the future – one that was practical and full of family love.
