On today's episode we talk about "trash" words people use.
"to be honest I feel..."
"would you like to do ____"
The words people use to try to be passive aggressive, or overly polite. We hate it. Why can't we all just be more confident about our conversations and tasks for people. That doesn't have to be direct at hurtful. We get into how to give people the agency to take ownership of what they need to do, and the importance of setting ground rules so that nothing is lost in the gray area. We also get into the need for being proactive about what you want vs waiting for it to come to you and mastering the process.
