Coach McWhorter is a native of Effingham Illinois where he played his high school ball at Effingham High School. He went on to play college ball at Eastern Illinois. From there, Coach McWhorter got his first coaching job as an assistant at Charlton County. Three years later he was named the HFC there and the rest is history! The man is a legend.
