This time on the latest episode of the Rich & Turbo Heavy Half Hour (S2E10), we talk to Richie Tarver, lead guitarist, and one of the founders and principal songwriters of the amazing band from Norman, Oklahoma, Rainbows Are Free! The timing of our chat was perfect, given it was on the eve of the band dropping their new record and album of the year candidate, Silver and Gold, the next morning on March 7, 2025, via Ripple Music. We talk to Richie about the new record and how it came to be, why the songs sound so big, the RAF live experience, the times Richie opened for Queensrÿche (twice!), the other killer band from Norman he has connection to, and so much more.
