  • Dancing in the Storm
    Dancing in the Storm
    Verse 1:
    O greatest Healer of my soul, here I come once more,
    My spirit longs for Your true love that makes me whole.
    I search no further, for I’ve wandered and I’ve seen,
    Your love corrects my crooked ways and reshapes my soul within.
    Pre-Chorus:
    I don’t want to walk my way again; it only led to night.
    I don’t want to trust my own insight; it robbed me of my peace and light.
    Chorus:
    I only want to walk Your way; teach my heart to hear You in the storm.
    I only want to give You praise, O Lord; teach me how to dance with joy in the storm.
    Verse 2:
    I have laid all of my burdens before Your throne,
    I have poured out all my troubles before You, Lord—oh yeah!
    Your love is gentle, far too precious to let go,
    Take my heart, Lord, You are my life; I won’t let go, my Love. *Pre-Chorus + Chorus*

  • No One Sees
    No One Sees
    Verse 1:
    Hello, how are you holding up today, old friend?
    I hope you’ve counted every blessing, one by one, dear friend.
    I know, no one truly understands your story;
    But look a little closer—you’ll see the Lord is good.
    Pre-Chorus:
    No one sees the shadows pulling your hopes down.
    No one feels the pain you’ve carried all this time.
    No one sees the weight of the burden you endure.
    No one cares if you’re still breathing or gone.
    Chorus:
    Look up to Jesus, Author of our faith;
    He holds the whole wide world in His hands, and He will heal your wounds.
    Look up to Jesus, He will break these chains;
    The Lord alone is kind enough to save a weary soul.
    Verse 2:
    Hello, I know you’ve cried alone in the dark;
    You searched and searched, yet hope felt so far away.
    I know, you thought you wiped your own tears in the dark, alone;
    But He gave you the strength, and softly whispered, I’m here, son. *Pre-Chorus + Chorus*

  • Nobody, Somebody
    Nobody, Somebody
    Intro:
    Caller: Are you insane? What on earth do you think you is doing? I’m talking to you — dang it! Hello? Hello?
    Response: Cleaning up the mess these barbarians left behind!
    Verse 1:
    There’s nothing you can do when people have already made up their minds about you…
    But you can choose to live in joy, ’cause their opinions will never define you.
    Let your heart stay light, your spirit free, no one else can steal your peace, yeah
    Rise above the noise, let your own song soar and never cease; they’re behind!
    Chorus:
    Yeah, they said you’re a nobody, but you’re more than just a body…
    And it’s God who made that body.
    Do they even know?
    Here comes that nobody—now they see you as somebody?
    See, God doesn’t live in their body.
    Haha! We know!
    Verse 2:
    Don’t let their whispers steal the light you hold,
    Walk your path, trust God, stand bold.
    Every step you take, every move you make,
    You’re shining bright — they know.
    Set your eyes on God; I know it’s hard,
    But stand your ground, stay strong.
    Guard your soul — others sold theirs out,
    But we shine in the dark… they know. *Chorus*
    Bridge:
    Now sway…softly to the right,
    Clap your hands, then glide gently to the left.
    I say, swing…slowly to the right,
    Stamp your feet, then drift gently to the left. *Chorus*

  • It’s a New Year
    It’s a New Year
    Verse 1:
    Leave the past where it belongs, let it go,
    Drop the weight, no looking back, let’s roll.
    There’s more ahead for you and me,
    Lay it down, shake it off, step free.
    Chorus:
    Hallelujah!
    Hands up high, yeah, it’s a New Year.
    Sing Hallelujah!
    Hands up high, yeah, it’s a New Year.
    Verse 2:
    Don’t stop, let the rhythm play, no fear,
    Stand strong — God’s got you here.
    Stay alert, get your grind in line,
    But guard your heart, protect your mind. Ha!
    Some folks act friendly, smiling wide,
    But inside they mmm mmm.
    So pray each day and thank the Lord above,
    ’Cause they won’t stop plotting that mmm mmm. *Chorus*
    Verse 3:
    Alright, no need to lose control,
    Just nod your head, thank God for what He’s done.
    Alright, I see you move a little now,
    Still nod your head, thank God for His love. *Chorus*

  • I’m a Conqueror
    I’m a Conqueror
    Verse 1:
    Well, hello there, life—guess who’s back again;
    I told you long ago I would return.
    You said that I was weak, but I found my strength
    In the mighty arms of the Lord.
    You see, I didn’t come back on my own this time,
    I’ve got Jesus standing at my back.
    You called me worthless, said I was nobody—
    But I stand secure, the Saviour’s got my back.
    Pre-Chorus:
    Everything you put me through just showed me
    I was never meant to stand alone.
    So I ran back to the Father,
    Laid my whole life before His holy throne.
    The Father is forgiving, rich in mercy and in grace,
    He washed and renewed my heart.
    There is hope within the sight of the Lord—
    Come and lay your life before His holy throne.
    Chorus:
    I’ve got my boots on, I’ve got my armour on,
    I’ve got the Lion of Judah—His Word, my sword.
    The blood of Jesus paid my wages,
    You’re a liar—through Him, I’m a conqueror.
    I’ve got my crown on, I’ve got my shine on,
    The light of the Lord is glowing from within.
    Jesus took the hit for the whole team,
    You’re a liar—through Him, I’m a conqueror.
    Verse 2:
    Oh, that look in your eyes—I see through the lies,
    You sold me empty promises to steal my soul.
    But the light of the Lord exposed your schemes,
    And you ran straight back to the darkness.
    Oh, the stench of your words—you’re trapped in your lies,
    You said the Lord wasn’t good to steal my soul.
    But the light of the Lord revealed the truth,
    And you ran straight back to the darkness. (Pre-Chorus + Chorus)

  • Let's Celebrate This Christmas
    Celebrate This Christmas
    Verse 1:
    When the snow begins to fall, you can hear the Saviour calling.
    Don't let the world be the reason your tears start falling-bring your burden to the Son of the
    Morning.
    Let His light within you shine; don't worry, brother, it will be fine.
    Everything has its time-so stay kind.
    And sister, celebrate life... come, let's celebrate life.
    Chorus:
    Let's celebrate this Christmas-come, rejoice in the Prince of Peace.
    Let's celebrate our Saviour, who brings us heaven's perfect peace.
    Let's celebrate Jesus-yes, celebrate the Prince of Peace.
    Let's celebrate our Saviour, who brings us peace from heaven high.
    Verse 2:
    A love like no other, from a King whose kingdom is just and fair.
    A firstborn unlike any other, sent by the Father to save us all.
    Come, let's share the good news with the world-
    Let the whole wide world know His holy name.
    He brings us healing from above-
    Let the whole wide world know His holy name.
    Spoken Words:
    Jesus, You are my Saviour.
    You left Your throne on high and stepped into the dust to save me.
    Jesus, You called me friend-
    What more can I offer than my heart and soul? Take it all, O Lord.
    Bridge:
    Holy Father, here we stand before Your throne with our songs.
    Receive our praise, accept our offering-our hearts are Yours alone.
    Holy Father, here we stand before Your throne with our songs.
    Let the fire of Your presence shape our hearts to worship true. *Chorus*

  • You Are My Chorus
    You Are My Chorus.
    Verse 1:
    It’s a simple song to tell You that I love You
    For all the wonders You’ve done.
    I can’t contain this joy within me—oh, how I love You;
    You’ve left no stone unturned.
    Pre-Chorus:
    Over the moon, my spirit sails,
    For You are the shore where my soul is anchored.
    Take all of me—my heart and my soul;
    You are my hope and my assurance.
    Chorus:
    This is the chorus, Lord, where I pour out all my love and endless joy.
    You are my chorus, Lord — the sweetest part of my life, yes, Lord.
    Receive all my praise, O Lord; let Your mercy and steadfast love overflow.
    You are my chorus, Lord — the beautiful One in my life, yes, Lord.
    Verse 2:
    What could I ever do without You, Father? You’re my whole world —
    The only fountain that sustains my soul.
    I once tried to live without You, Father, and the world nearly devoured me;

  • Thorns for Crown
    Thorns for Crown
    Verse 1:
    You knew me, Lord, before my birth; You gave me life and mapped my path,
    A great plan I’ve only realised.
    And when I fell You bore the cross, You gave Your life to win my soul,
    A great design I must realise.
    Pre-Chorus:
    You bore my shame and placed it upon the cross,
    and bled for me to lift me, Lord, from the pit.
    You spoke my name while being mocked upon the cross,
    You bled for me to save me, Lord, from the blaze.
    Chorus:
    I triumph through Jesus, lover of my soul;
    Who wore the thorns to hand me a crown.
    O Holy Father, I give You my all;
    You wore the thorns so I could be crowned.
    Verse 2:
    I walked the earth and found none close to You, Lord,
    Even my reflection never shone like You, Lord.
    Pour Your mercy on us, O Gentle Lord;
    Straighten our twisted ways to walk like Yours, Lord. *Pre-Chorus + Chorus*
    Bridge:
    Make me Your soldier, O Dear Lord, I yield to You with both hands raised.
    Make me Your servant, O Dear Lord, I yield to You, cleanse my heart, Lord.
    I’ll tell the whole wide world how You saved me from my judgement.
    I’ll share with the whole wide world the glad tidings, O Redeemer. *Chorus till fade*

  • No Throne Needed
    No Throne Needed
    Verse 1:
    When we hear the birds sing, when we rise in the morning beside those we adore;
    When we stand upon the mountain and behold the sun and the moon shining from above —
    Let us bring our thanks to the Lord; offer the fruits of praise to the Father who reigns on high over all.
    Shake off your shackles before the Lord — His presence breaks every chain and every cage woven in darkness.
    Pre-Chorus:
    He gives a child to the barren; He wipes the tears from the faces of the old.
    He pours His rain upon the empty land; He turns the desert green and full once more.
    Chorus:
    Come, let us sing to the Lord on high — yes, lift your praise, for He alone is worthy.
    Come, tap your feet for the Lord on high — offer your praise, for He alone is worthy.
    Dedicate your life to the Lord on high — yes, give Him glory, for He alone is worthy.
    Dedicate your children to the Lord on high — offer your praise, for He alone is worthy.
    Verse 2:
    Who compares to our King, whose very word dissolves all the weapons of the wicked?
    Who compares to our King, whose breath upholds creation in every realm?
    Who is like You, Lord? No throne is needed for You to reign over the earth.
    Who is like our Lord, whose garment brings healing to the sick and weary hearts? *Pre-Chorus + Chorus*

About Richard Shekari

From the publisher's feed

I am Richard Shekari, a multifaceted artist and humanitarian based in Abuja, Nigeria. Born on 11 April 1981 in Bauchi, my relationship with music began early in life, long before I fully understood how deeply it would shape my identity. What started as a simple involvement in church would eventually become the foundation of my artistic journey, guiding me through seasons of devotion, rebellion, discovery, and ultimately reconciliation between two very different musical worlds.
