The EUROVISION SONG CONTEST is a big deal in the UK as it is all throughout Europe and other parts of the world. What a delight it is to have with us this week, KIMBERELY REW, who wrote the song "Love Shine a Light" which marked the last time, in the past twenty-five years, that the UK scored a victory at EUROVISION. KIMBERLEY REW, an 18-year member of the UK band KATRINA & THE WAVES is the guitarist of and author of the song "Love Shine a Light" which won EUROVISION, in 1997, and not only made the band KATRINA & THE WAVES proud but also the entire UK as well. Kimberely also wrote the biggest hit record that KATRINA & THE WAVES ever had and that is the worldwide smash Rock/Pop hit entitled "Walking on Sunshine." Kimberely joins us on the podcast RICK FLYNN PRESENTS with a surprise guest, his partner of twenty-five years, Lee Cave-Berry. KIMBERLEY REW compositions have been covered by, among others, the following: Celine Dion ("That's Just the Woman in Me") & The Bangles ("Going Down to Liverpool") & Dolly Parton ("Walking on Sunshine").
