Ride the Line

Dianna Russini was photographed kissing her husband on Mother's Day — and the timing is not an accident. The NFL schedule is leaking and Grant and Tanner already have a problem with the 49ers facing the Rams in Australia. And Lane Kiffin says Ole Miss' Confederate ties and LSU's diversity have played a role on the recruiting trail — typical Lane or legitimate point? All three stories in one episode.

RUSSINI KISSING HER HUSBAND — WHO IS RELEASING THESE IMAGES AND WHY

Nothing in this saga has leaked accidentally. Grant and Tanner examine the motivations behind the Mother's Day photo, who benefits from it being public, and what the next chapter looks like for everyone involved in one of the most bizarre ongoing stories in sports media.

NFL SCHEDULE LEAKS — AUSTRALIA AND EARLY ODDS

Two NFC West division rivals who play each other twice a year anyway are being sent to Australia for an international game. Grant and Tanner have real problems with that decision. Plus early betting odds are out and they go through where the value actually lies heading into 2026.

LANE KIFFIN GOES THERE

Kiffin said out loud what many in college football have whispered for years. Grant and Tanner debate whether it is a genuine recruiting observation or just Lane doing what Lane does — then assess whether LSU and Sam Leavitt have enough to make a legitimate College Football Playoff run in 2026.

New photos show Diana Russini and Mike Vrabel on a rented boat while she was seven months pregnant — and the Patriots have a serious decision to make. Did Russini's platform constitute insider trading for New England? Is Mike Tomlin the replacement? And the NBA referee situation with the Thunder is coming to a head in the Lakers series in a way the league can no longer ignore. Grant and Tanner cover it all.

THE PHOTOS CHANGE EVERYTHING

New pictures confirm what was previously speculation — Russini and Vrabel together on a rented boat while she was seven months pregnant. Grant and Tanner break down what the photos reveal, whether Vrabel deserves to be fired before coaching a single regular season game, and what Robert Kraft is actually thinking right now.

WHAT SHOULD THE PATRIOTS DO

Keep him. Fire him. Put him on leave. Grant and Tanner go through every option on the table and ask the question nobody else is asking — if Russini used her platform and access to benefit the Patriots during the relationship, does that constitute insider trading? And if Vrabel is out, does Mike Tomlin actually take the job?

THE NBA HAS A REFEREE PROBLEM

The Thunder are one of the best teams in basketball — and they are consistently on the right side of foul disparities in ways that are impossible to ignore. It is coming to a head in the Lakers series. Grant and Tanner break down the numbers, explain why this is a serious credibility problem for the league, and ask whether OKC is so good it almost doesn't matter anyway.

The Patriots are bracing for Dianna Russini to tell her side of the story — and Vrabel's job could be on the line depending on what she says. Stefon Diggs is in court for allegedly assaulting his chef and the Patriots already cut him — will he ever play again? And Grant and Tanner lock in their Game 2 picks — both backing the Sixers to bounce back against the Knicks and the Spurs to win a close one against Minnesota.

PATRIOTS BRACE FOR RUSSINI TO SPEAK

After weeks of the story developing from the outside, Russini may be about to tell her own version of events. Grant and Tanner break down what details could emerge, why New England is reportedly in preparation mode, and whether there's a version of this story that ends Vrabel's tenure before he coaches a single regular season game.

STEFON DIGGS IN COURT

Diggs is facing assault allegations involving his personal chef — with whom he allegedly had a sexual relationship. The Patriots cut him immediately. Grant and Tanner break down the legal situation, the NFL's likely response, and whether a 33-year-old receiver coming off a serious knee injury with an active legal case ever plays another NFL snap.

GAME 2 PICKS — SIXERS AND SPURS BOUNCE BACK

Getting blown out in Game 1 doesn't end a series. Grant and Tanner both like the Sixers to respond against the Knicks and the Spurs to win a close Game 2 against a shorthanded Minnesota team. Full breakdowns and full picks before tip-off.

Mike Vrabel gets a standing ovation at a Patriots event, Drake Maye rallies behind his coach, and the story of Russini pulling a man from a crashed car may not be true. Shilo Sanders calls out a Browns reporter over Shedeur coverage and Grant and Tanner debate whether Watson should start. And the Nuggets get eliminated by a shorthanded Timberwolves team while Jokic escapes the criticism every other all-time great would face - plus Game 7 predictions for Celtics-Sixers. Packed episode.

 VRABEL GETS A STANDING OVATION

The Patriots are rallying around their coach. Drake Maye went on record saying the team is behind Vrabel amid the Russini scandal. Meanwhile the story of Russini pulling a man from a crashed car may not have happened the way it was reported — and somehow this entire situation has a comedic connection to a JP Morgan scandal. Grant and Tanner break down every new development.

SHILO SANDERS CALLS OUT THE BROWNS MEDIA

Shilo went public over what he sees as unfair negative coverage of Shedeur in Cleveland. Grant and Tanner assess whether he has a point, make the case for whether Deshaun Watson should be the week one starter, and map out what Shedeur's realistic future in Cleveland actually looks like.

NUGGETS ELIMINATED - AND NOBODY BLAMES JOKIC

Minnesota was missing three players including Anthony Edwards and still sent Denver home. Grant and Tanner ask why Jokic gets a pass that LeBron, Kobe, and other all-time greats never received after a first round exit — and make their Game 7 predictions for Celtics-Sixers.

Brendan Sorsby checks into rehab after placing thousands of bets including on his own team, with $5 million and his eligibility on the line. And Ty Simpson had secret meetings with Sean McVay before the draft — so why did McVay look so pissed when the Rams took him 13th? Grant and Tanner cover it all.

VRABEL AND RUSSINI — SIX YEARS

This wasn't a fling. Six years of a secret relationship between one of the NFL's most prominent coaches and one of its most prominent reporters reframes everything. Vrabel is in counseling. His job is in question. And Grant and Tanner ask whether Russini should stop playing the sympathetic figure and fully lean into the villain role instead.

BRENDAN SORSBY CHECKS INTO REHAB

The top player in the transfer portal was set to make $5 million at Texas Tech. Now he's in rehab after placing thousands of bets — including allegedly on his own team to win while at Indiana. Grant and Tanner break down the eligibility implications, what happens to the Texas Tech deal, and whether he ever plays college football again.

TY SIMPSON AND THE McVAY MYSTERY

Secret pre-draft meetings with Sean McVay. A 13th overall pick. And a head coach who looked genuinely pissed when the card was turned in. Grant and Tanner break down what the secret meetings actually mean, whose call this pick really was, and how long Simpson sits behind Stafford before things get complicated in LA.

VRABEL SPEAKS — AND IT DIDN'T HELP The Patriots head coach stepped in front of the cameras amid the Russini scandal and didn't admit anything. But the way he said it told you everything. Grant and Tanner go word by word through the press conference — what he said, what he dodged, and why this appearance may have done more damage than staying silent would have.

WEMBANYAMA CONCUSSION — SPURS IN TROUBLE Victor Wembanyama suffered a concussion in Game 2 against the Trail Blazers and could miss the rest of the series and potentially beyond. The Spurs have already dropped to third in NBA Finals odds. Grant and Tanner break down the injury timeline, what it means for San Antonio's playoff run, and how it reshapes the entire Western Conference picture.

Mike Vrabel skipped Patriots media availability as the Diana Russini situation escalates — she's now on pause at The Athletic. Rueben Bain Jr.'s draft stock is in freefall after a report details a deadly 2024 car crash and a second careless driving citation in 2025. And Grant and Tanner lock in every NBA play-in pick before tip-off. Packed episode.

VRABEL AND RUSSINI — IT KEEPS GROWING

The Patriots head coach was a no-show at media availability as rumors of a potential affair with Diana Russini continue to swirl. Russini is now reportedly on pause at The Athletic. Grant and Tanner break down the professional implications for both parties and where this story goes next.

RUEBEN BAIN JR. DRAFT DRAMA

A report has emerged detailing that Bain was behind the wheel during a deadly 2024 crash that killed a 22-year-old woman — and that a second careless driving citation followed in 2025. Multiple league sources say he hasn't been fully transparent with teams. Grant and Tanner break down every angle, both sides of the debate, and how far he could slide on draft night.

Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel are making headlines for all the wrong reasons. AJ Brown's trade situation is heating up and the Patriots might be his best landing spot. And Grant asks the question nobody wants to answer — is betting Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, or Burrow to win the Super Bowl actually smarter than just taking the field?

RUSSINI AND VRABEL DRAMA

Photos emerged of the NFL's most prominent reporter and the Patriots' new head coach holding hands at a resort. Grant breaks down the story, the conflict of interest questions, and what it means for both of their professional reputations going forward.

AJ BROWN TRADE TALK

The chances of a trade are real — and the Patriots remain the most logical landing spot for one of the best receivers in football. But agreeing on compensation is going to be harder than anyone thinks. Grant breaks down every angle including whether New England actually needs him to build around Drake Maye.

MAHOMES, ALLEN, JACKSON, BURROW — OR THE FIELD?

The NFL has never had more parity. Recent Super Bowl champions have proven you don't necessarily need a transcendent quarterback to win it all. Grant makes the case for and against betting the big four and gives his honest take on where the smart money actually lies.
