With Spring here and new housing data just released, it looks like the real estate market is going to be as hot as ever.  But with the Fed raising interest rates and the memories of 2008 in the not-too-distant past, we ask the question: is a house a good investment?  The answer and the numbers to support it are pretty shocking.  We also offer up some helpful hints in case you are a first time homebuyer and looking to get your piece of the American dream.
