  • Here Comes The Sun - AcoustaTronic Version
Intended with all due respect to the late, great George Harrison and The Beatles, as well as a verse added in memory of Richie Havens most memorable version (RIP, Richie). Merely my own AcoustaTronic sketch of this sparkly gem. Nothing like the return of our bright, beautiful Sun to warm away dreary cold, rainy days, etc... May the Summer Sun shine upon us all and warm our spirits and zest for life. As always, thanks for listening and/or commenting. All instruments and production by Riff Beach via RiffWerx Home Studio. Among instruments used here were my new Martin 000-15M All-Mahogany Acoustic, and a most special Hohner Pearwood Harmonica from my Dad. Dad, Thanks for leaving such incredible memories and keepsakes. Loved and Missed, always.

A bit of repeating 12-8 Muted Acoustic Guitar work, backed by contemporaneous Native American Kiowa Bamboo Flute, and my Ibanez ArtCore AcoustaElectric thin-line JazzBox. Zero to Hero and Back ©
    Riff Beach - Original
    RiffWerx - 2018
In a World filled with Illusion
Mr. Hero lived a Wonderful Life
Bit off far more than he could chew
Even wore out a Wife….or Two!
The ones that he was pleasing
Weren’t the ones that mattered most
    Seasons racing by so fast….
Comes a time to break or coast
    Chorus
Don’t go Reading your own Headlines
    Records underscored with Grief
The climb from Zero to Hero…and Back
Is it Affirmation - or - Belief?
Even the strongest tumble at times
Amidst all the glory and the pay
Dust off, get right back up
    Before it quickly fades away
    Bridge
    Welcome to just another Day
    Now, you’re just another Fan
Seeking out new games to play
No more Boy Wonder, nor Peter Pan
    Mr. Hero’s now Mr. Humble
    Survival required him to evolve
    Went inwards, so they say
Plenty puzzles left there to solve

  • Just Wondering When © - AcoustaTronic Original
    Just Wondering When ©
    Riff Beach - (RiffWerx 2018)
    Turn me Inside Out
    …and Upside Down
    Serve it with a Smile…..
Or, Force it with a Frown
    Remind us all…..
To Keep The Faith ’til then
    You know I keep waiting
    Just Wondering When
    Just Wondering When
    Chorus 1
    People are Dying
    You know it’s a Sin
We’re far beyond Crying (No More Crying)
It’s Time for The (an) End
    Chorus 2
    We know they’re just lying
(Al)though, they claim (that) they’re trying
And, it leaves me Wondering (And, it really makes us Wonder)
    Just Wondering When (Oh, Lord)
    (I’m) Just Wondering When ???
    Bridge
We can Take It Easy ……
    Or, Make it Rough
    Please don’t appease me
    ‘Cause Enough is Enough?
    All the crap that passes
    For news these days
    Maybe, it’s a Fad?
    Or, only a phase?

  • No Train Tracks In My Home Town © - Tony's Lyrics/Riff Beach
Tony of Tony's Lyrics created a wonderful song concept, which I was most pleased to join in here. Tony and I co-wrote this one, but 95% of the credit goes to him for developing the analogy and song idea. I was gratified to furnish a bit of music and understated production to help frame this tune. Sometimes, when there's a solid song idea - Less is More! ;-)
Train Tracks In My Home Town ©
    (Harris-Beach - 2018)
We’ve all heard that expression about….
Being from the other side of the tracks
    Usually all about reputation
    Or some other personal attacks
Knowing so little about a person
Or, anyone living on the other side
Why trash those a little different….
Or, cause them to hurt inside?
    Chorus
No (train) Tracks in my Home Town
(No) Nobody’s from The Other Side
(There’s) No Tracks in my Home Town
Yet, sometimes we all hurt deep inside
(Because/And) You know…..Everyone has their Pride
    (No Tracks, No Other Side)
People can still still drag us down
    Even in our home town
Add some weight upon our backs
We don’t even need those tracks
    Bridge
    Same story on all sides
    East and West
    North and South
    Up and Down
    …..and all around
    Sometimes those Tracks
Like all matters of The Heart
    They bring us closer together
    Or lead us further apart….

  • Requiem For Our Fathers © - Original ElectroCoustic In Remembrance
In remembrance of My Dad. If you've ever lost a Father, you will, hopefully, understand. Poured it all right into the strings, then added a bit of Spoken Word Lyrics. The Ibanez Thinline Artcore Vintage Guitar smiles and weeps.
    Missed, but never forgotten.....
    Love you, Dad!

    Riff Beach - RiffWerx - 2018
    Stumbling along into this World
    So much Magic unfurled
    Yet, you say…..
    Walk Along, Young Man
    Reach out
    Make a Plan
    Make a Way
    C’mon, now…..
    Seize the Day
    Hey, now……
    Where ya’ gone?
    What’s it Like?
    No more tired or worn
    Thank You
    Thank You for Everything
    You watched me…..
    Play and sing
    Yeah, Thanks for Everything
    And all that you were
    And all that I am
    Yeah, it’s alright
    Thanks for who you were
    And who I am……

  • Don't It Make You Wanna' Go Home? - AcoustaTronic Version
Classic sparkly gem from 1969, originally written and performed by the most incredible and underrated, Joe South, on his album of same name. Later, covered by the infamous Brook Benton, as well as Bobby Bare, Glen Campbell and others. Always loved this nostalgic, Retro 60'sh tune. Just sketched my own way here in AcoustaTronic with all intended respect. Hope it's enjoyed? As always, any listens, comments, re-spins are all most genuinely appreciated. Thanks for making the time.
