Insanity……so close at hand

Casts a Darkness upon our Land

Sometimes, it’s hard to understand

Amidst the Shadows and the Noise

It reverberates nearly every day

Oh, a Sadness that’s not meant to stay

Why can’t we make it all just go away?

Oh yeah, can we just move on?

What can be said to make us See?

What can be done to make us Say?

How about some Help and Hope?

Oh, Yeah…..Just to chase it All……. Away?

As Night Falls

And, The Sun Sinks

Soon it will Rise Again

Even when we’re On The Brink

Just make it Go Away

Come back some other Day

For a Time of Peace will surely come

To replace the times we’re left feeling numb
