Riff Beach

All Original Riff Rockin' from Riff Beach.

Created Backing Tracking and then accompanied intuitively on my Toronado Paranormal Electric Double-Bucker and mixed it all up. Sometimes, nothing like like a little warm Fire on a Chilly Day to chase your Blues away. ;-)

Intuitive Blues Blasting with the Fender Squier Toronado Paranormal Electric Double-Bucker to a roasted, slow-cooked Bit Crushed Drum Loop.

Serious people know not to take themselves too seriously. Always do your best. Stay humble. Don't read your own headlines. There's always someone or something better. Each of us are always able to look, listen, learn, and improve upon whatever we 'Master'......or 'Think We Have'. We're all Legends in our Own Minds sometimes. As The Mighty Mighty Master of Nothing, myself, here I am.......always attempting to enjoy each moment to the fullest. Wanting to simply do my best given my shortcomings. That's all. I will fall short, I will fail, I will make mistakes, but I will always get up, dust off, and keep moving forward in some way - each and every day. Most of all, try to keep it FUN. Smile through the pain if and when you can, Friends. Enjoy Life. Live, Love, Laugh! ;-) Don't sweat the small stuff........ Forget "Get"....To Give is to Live!

Riff Beach Original - RiffWerx - 2017

(Revised Version - 2021)

Oh, it’s really sad to say, My Friend

But, as I approach The End

Strange face in a mirror stares right through me

Yet, loving this place I always longed to be

It’s a place that we all know

Not too hard for anyone to go

Must be real if we accept it as so

I know you know the feeling that I know

(Chorus)

It sure seems right as rain

Even though it causes me some pain

My Cup runneth over with all I write and sing

Yet, here am I…..The Mighty Mighty Master of Nothing

The Mighty Mighty Master of Nothing

(Bridge)

Sometimes, for those who wish to be King

Best remember exactly what power can bring

For, you need not follow any rules at all

If you keep your Kingdom tidy and small

How insane and pointedly true

And, I’m afraid you believe it, too

Or, do you think that they don’t see?

We’re often all Fools……

Yeah, even You and Me

(Chorus and Out)

All Original instrumental inspired by and dedicated to my Good Friend and Big Beat Beach Bandmate, Bravei Brasil. Guitar parts contemporaneously 'Martin'-ized by Riff on my GPC-11E. Added Mini Cajon slaps, thumps, and taps while tracking and playing along. :D)))

We’re Heading on Up

But, We Keep….

Falling Down

Gotta’ pick ourselves Up

From the cold, hard Ground

Our knees are scuffed

Our Bones are sore

Our minds confused

All those Lies…..

And so much more

Don’t give me excuses

Don’t you criticize

One day you’ll wake up

And You’ll realize

So, Pick It Up

Don’t Put ‘Em Down

Your Time is Up

Don’t Look Around

Don’t You Look Around

(Repeat Verses)

Estamos subindo

Mas, nós mantemos….

Caindo

Temos que nos levantar

Do solo frio e duro

Nossos joelhos estão arranhados

Nossos ossos estão doloridos

Nossas mentes confusas

Todas aquelas mentiras… ..

E muito mais

Não me dê desculpas

Não critique

Um dia você vai acordar

E você vai perceber

Então, pegue

Não os abaixe

Seu tempo acabou

Não olhe em volta

Você não olha em volta

(Repetir versos)

Another sparkly gem from the Cat-Vault interpreted in my own AcoustaTronic way. He understands what Love is all about. Thanks for writing and creating such an incredible song, Cat Yusuf Stevens. It's remained a template for how to live and love from the time I first heard it. Such inspiring lyrics and music.

Oh, Very Young - Cat Stevens - 1974

Oh, very young

What will you leave us this time

You're only dancing on this Earth for a short while

And though your dreams may toss and turn you now

They will vanish away like your daddy's best jeans

Denim Blue fading up to the sky

And though you want him to last forever

You know he never will

(You know he never will)

And the patches make the goodbye harder still

Oh, very young

What will you leave us this time

There'll never be a better chance to change your mind

And if you want this world to see a better day

Will you carry the words of love with you

Will you ride the great white bird into Heaven

And though you want to last forever

You know you never will

(You know you never will)

And the goodbye makes the journey harder still

Oh, very young

What will you leave us this time

You're only dancing on this Earth for a short while

Oh, very young

What will you leave us this time

There once was an amazing magical musical Band called 'Bread', fronted by the inimitable David Gates. Cover 'Sketch' created with all due respect and love for Bread, albeit only a rather small slice here. ;-)

Look What You've Done

(Bread - Gates - 1970)

You have taken the heart of me

And left just a part of me,

And look, look, look what you've done.

Well, you took all the best of me,

So come get the rest of me,

And look back, finish what you've begun.

There is some-one you ought to meet,

It's me, Mister Incomplete.

Look, at what I've become.

For it's due to the lack of you

That I'm now only half of two.

Look back, finish what you've begun.

Come and sit by my side

Where there's nothing to hide.

You will try to decide what you needed

But from where I stand today,

I can't think of the way

Or the words that I might say

That will change your mind and make you stay.

Oh, no, not for all the times I've pleaded.

Look, look, look what you've done.

You have taken the best of me,

So come get the rest of me,

And look back, finish what you've begun.

I'll be done.

Riff Beach - Original (Lyrics)

Music & Production - Bravei Brasil

Wake Up Now

Walk out that door

Wonder Not

….about today

What will we do? Where will we go?

Why not laugh? Why not cry?

Why not scream? Why not sigh?

Maybe, just a Little?

Maybe, just a Lot?

Oh, Yeah

(Chorus)

Oh, Glory Day

Comin’ Our Way

Shine your Smile

Leave us feeling….

Just like a Child

Let us Be…..

What We can Be

No Time for History

Nor Faded Memory

Oh No, We’re gonna’ Run

We’re gonna’ Play

Don’t save a thing

For another day

(Bridge)

Oh, No

No…..

Oh, No

No

Non, No, No…..

Oh, Glory Day

Bring it all our Way

C’Mon over here

Fill our glass…

Full of Cheer

Oh, Glory Day……Comin’ Our Way !

Não pergunto ©

Praia do Riff - Original (Lyrics)

Música e Produção - Bravei Brasil

Acorde agora

Saia pela porta

Não me pergunto

….sobre Hoje

O que faremos? Onde nós vamos?

Por que não rir? Por que não chorar?

Por que não gritar? Por que não suspira?

Um pouco? Muito?

(Refrão)

Oh, Glory Day

Comendo nosso caminho

Brilhe seu sorriso

Deixe-nos sentir ...

como uma criança

Deixe-nos ser…..

O que podemos ser

Não há tempo para o histórico

Nem memória desvanecida

Nós vamos 'Run

Nós vamos tocar

Não salve nada

Por outro dia

(Ponte)

Ah, não

Não, não, não

Ah, não

Não, não, não

Oh,Glory Day

Traga tudo do nosso jeito

C'Mon por aqui

Encha nosso copo…

Cheio de alegria
