Got a Billions Bucks

So, Won’t you just Wish Me Luck?

Got a Taste for Space

And, We’re Blasting off…..

Headed to a Brave New Place

Some Brave New Place

It’s Up There….Up There

Somewhere….

Oh, What lies ahead?

(What’s) left behind?

Slipping by The Stars

Just passed Moon and Mars

Won’t you come Drink Down….

Some of the Milky Way with me?

Something Lost

And, Something Found

And….Off we go

To a Brave New World

Oh, Boys and Girls

Searching for Survival

On the Way to Revival

We mean No Harm

We’ll Keep it Warm

Bright Dreams and Promises

It's all out in Front

All…..out….

In Front of Us

Tenho bilhões de dólares

Então, você não vai apenas me desejar sorte?

Tenho gosto pelo espaço

E, estamos decolando ...

Rumo a um admirável lugar novo

Um admirável lugar novo

Está lá em cima ... Lá em cima

Em algum lugar….

Oh, o que vem pela frente?

(O que é) deixado para trás?

Escorregando pelas estrelas

Acabei de passar a Lua e Marte

Você não virá Beber ...

Um pouco da Via Láctea comigo?

Algo perdido

E algo encontrado

E ... vamos embora

Para um admirável mundo novo

Oh, meninos e meninas

Em Busca de Sobrevivência

A caminho do avivamento

Queremos dizer sem danos

Vamos mantê-lo aquecido

Sonhos e promessas brilhantes

Está tudo na frente

Tudo… .. fora….

Na nossa frente

Wake Up Now

Oh, Yeah

Are You Gonna’ Walk out that door?

Wonder not ….about today

What will we do?

Oh, where will we go?

And, why not laugh?

Or, why not cry?

Why not scream?

Or, why not sigh?

Maybe just a little?

Maybe a lot?

Chorus

Oh, Glory Day

It’s all Comin’ Our Way

Shine your Smile

Leave us feeling….

Just like a Child

Let us Be…..

What We can be

Cuz’ I got no time for History

I don’t want to be a Faded Memory

We’re gonna’ Run

We’re gonna’ Play

We won’t save a thing

Oh no for another day

Bridge

Oh, No

No, no, no

Uhmmmm…Uhmmm..Uhmmmm

Oh, Glory Day

Bring it all our Way

Glory Day

I can feel it

Comin’ Our Way….Glory Day

Acorde agora

Oh sim

Você vai sair por aquela porta?

Não me pergunto ... sobre hoje

O que faremos?

Oh, para onde iremos?

E por que não rir?

Ou, por que não chorar?

Por que não gritar?

Ou, por que não suspirar?

Talvez um pouquinho?

Talvez muito?

Refrão

Oh, dia de glória

Está tudo vindo em nossa direção

Brilhe seu sorriso

Deixe-nos sentir….

Como uma criança

Deixe-nos ser…..

O que podemos ser

Porque eu não tenho tempo para história

Eu não quero ser uma memória desbotada

Nós vamos correr

Nós vamos jogar

Não vamos salvar nada

Oh não para outro dia

Ponte

Ah não

Não não não

Uhmmmm ... Uhmmm..Uhmmmm

Oh, dia de glória

Traga tudo do nosso jeito

Dia de glória

eu posso sentir isso

Vindo do nosso jeito ... Dia da glória

One of my favorite songs of all time, created AcoustatTronically in my own way with all due respect to the Mighty Canadian Balladeer Songwriter, and Performing Artist, Gordon Lightfoot. Vocals, Guitars, and Production by Riff Beach via RiffWerx Records - 2021.

If You Could Read My Mind - Gordon Lightfoot - circa 1970

If you could read my mind, Love, what a tale my thoughts could tell

Just like an old time movie 'bout a ghost from a wishing well

In a castle dark or a fortress strong with chains upon my feet

You know that ghost is me

And, I will never be set free as long as I'm a ghost that you can't see

If I could read your mind, Love, what a tale your thoughts could tell

Just like a paperback novel, the kind the drugstores sell

When you reach the part where the heartaches come, the hero won't be me

Because heroes often fail

You won't read that book again, because the end is just too hard to take

I walk away like a movie star, who gets burned in a three-way script

Enter number two

A movie queen to play the scene of bringin' all the good things out in me

But, for now, Love, let's be real.....

I never thought I could act this way, and I've got to say that I just don't get it

I don't know where we went wrong, but the feeling's gone....

And, I just can't get it back

(Repeat Chorus 'Blended' Verse.....and Out)

ReMiX Version of a Tune crafted about 8 years ago (circa 2012). Original Music and Songwriting, Lyrics, Guitars, Vocals by Riff Beach via RiffWerx Records.

Analogous Thinking ©

Riff Beach - Original

RiffWerx - 2021 Revised (ReMiX)

Analogous Thinking….I think its time to rescue me

A simile seems to cause a smile way too easily

Like a Dog chases a Cat….A Cat pounces on a Mouse

Shouldn’t be throwing rocks from the porch of my Glass House

(Chorus)

Why do I connect dots…..dots that should never link?

How can something come from Cactus make such a tasty drink?

What wrong turn in the road leads to such twisted thought?

Maybe, the filter’s missing between my head and heart?

Like a groundhog searching for its shadow on a Winter’s day

Or, a bug stuck in the mud, while the leaves all blow away

Like what happens to a statue when the Pigeons overeat

Or, a raindrop in the desert when the sand begins to heat

What happened to my brain? All tangled torn and turned

When a Fuel Truck smacks a Train……

Well, something’s gonna’ get burned

Analogous thinking.......just another way to pass some time

Like a walk out in the yard escapes the prison of my mind

(Post Chorus)

Why do I connect dots……dots that should never link?

How can something come from Cactus make such a tasty drink?

Why does the moon turn yellow……why’s the sky so blue?

If you keep asking all those questions

…..something might happen to you

Bravei Brasil and Riff Beach have forged a continuum under the 'Big Beat Beach' banner. In fusing together their musical interests, the intent is to shape a fresh, vibrant, and lively sound that blurs the typical boundaries of genre. 3B Records and Production is officially releasing its first new project - "Song Undone ©" here on SoundCloud.

Thoughts in your head

Feelings in your heart

They make you feel whole

Or tear you apart

The words seemed so right

When I wrote them last night

But, I’m not sure anymore

I really don’t know

(Chorus)

You know tomorrow’s

A whole new day

Song Un-done….

(Why) Don’t let it get away

Maybe, you know what I mean?

Not much left to say

That hasn’t been said or seen

Another fleeting dream

I don’t want to forget….

Or…….Regret……

Don’t you let it

Get away

(Bridge)

Song Undone

Song Undone

Song to be Sung

Some things left……Undone

Thoughts come and go

Floating on a cloud

Like another face…..someplace

Lost in a Crowd

Pensamentos na sua cabeça

Sentimentos em seu coração

Eles fazem você se sentir completo

Ou rasgar você em pedaços

As palavras pareciam tão certas

Quando eu os escrevi ontem à noite

Mas, eu não tenho mais certeza

Eu realmente não sei

Refrão

Você sabe de amanhã

Um dia totalmente novo

Song Un-done….

(Por que) Não deixe escapar

Talvez, você sabe o que quero dizer?

Não resta muito a dizer

Isso não foi dito ou visto

Outro sonho fugaz

Eu não quero esquecer ...

Ou …… .Regret ……

Não deixe

Cai fora

Ponte

Canção Desfeita

Canção Desfeita

Canção para ser cantada

Algumas coisas foram deixadas ... desfeitas

Pensamentos vêm e vão

Flutuando em uma nuvem

Como outro rosto ... em algum lugar

Perdido na multidão

The Sugar Shack ©

Riff Beach - Original

RiffWerx 2018

You know, whatever you do

Comes back to you

So, jot it down, Baby

In a book about yourself

Before you put it back

Upon the shelf

Chorus

As for me, well….

I just wanna’ go back

To a jumpin' little bar

Called The Sugar Shack

Bridge

On sugar white sand

With a hard-rockin’ band

Playing an earth shaking beat

You just can’t stay off your feet

No need streaming music

When I’m dreaming you

Makes me wanna' go back

We can dance like two fools

Chorus 2

At the Sugar Shack

I just wanna’ go back

To The Sugar Shack

Ya’ know we wanna’ go back

To The Sugar Shack

Oh, Lord….Take me back

To The Sugar Shack

Suzie Q is a tune with quite a long and rather remarkable history. This Classic was covered by many famous artists and bands, before it caught fire again as a breakout Monster Hit for Creedence Clearwater Revival (re-released on their 1968 Debut Album). The CCR version is still a primary frame-of-reference for me, but just re-created my own way with all due respect to the Original songwriter, Dale Hawkins. Hawkins wrote and first recorded it in 1957. Seems there's still a dispute about whether the '57 song was a remake of an earlier Sonny Boy Williams ditty of the same name, released as early as 1939. Anyway, vocals, all instruments, and production for this version by RiffBeach via RiffWerx Records & Production. Hope it's enjoyed? :D)))

Created a backing track, bit-crushed drums, then played along with Squier Classic Vibe 50s Strat. The Cor-Tek Folks in Indonesia crafted one mighty fine Music Machine for The Fender Corporation with this Model. Like it as much as any Fender - among those owned - over the years. It's as good an Electric Guitar as I've ever played at any price. Strings are all I would ever really change on it, too. ;-)

Who says the Squier Classic Vibe 50s Strat isn't a "Real" Stratocaster? Well KMA, Kemosabe, cuz' they're every bit as good, playable, and tone-tasty as my AmPro Strat, but just come in a different flavor. That's all! ;-)

Riff Beach Original Instrumental Guitar Sketching. Recorded in Stereo :D)))
