Paul & Emily Hughes met in 2003 as trainee teachers assigned to the same school. It took a few years until they finally bonded over divorces and Emily’s motorcycle leathers (long but obvious story), and the rest, as they say, is history.
They’ve been happily married for almost 15 years, and now that they’ve both escaped teaching (their words, not mine), they run the Parent Guide to GCSE (and Post-16), supporting parents whose children are in Years 10-13.
Emily has a Masters from Cambridge in Maths with Education, while Paul has a Masters in Information Management and Computing from University of Sheffield, which will probably tell you what they each taught for 15 years.
Emily also runs a Pop Choir in her spare time, as she says she still needs to be able to boss people around having left teaching.

Patrick spent his early years in sales, selling from cars, gym equipment, rehab equipment and as am medical representative before becoming a qualified physiotherapist and running his own business for a short period.
Eventually, he found his way into training and traiing and hasn't looked back. 1, Annette Trevorrow-Gasher multi-faceted woman is a cancer conquerer, spokeswoman, safety expert and public speaker who raises awareness on breast cancer, domestic violence/abuse to mention afew things. She is a 15year cancer survivor with over 17 surgeries since 2005 and founded her own Health & Safety/Wellness agency creating an interactive first aid programme for children and corporations.
2, Annabella Gutman is an Israeli born actress and has played a range of roles in her lifetime. She is an LA based entreprenuer and model who has her own lingerie line with good connections to various people from Angel investors, brands, businesses etc.

On episode 10 Rory talks to award-winning social entrepreneur and best-selling author Alex Winstanley. With years of experience as a teacher, carer and SENCo, Alex set up a not-for-profit organisation called Happy Smiles Training CIC which empowers disabled young adults to create positive social change, by delivering awareness training across schools, community groups, businesses.

Episode 9 Rory is joined by musician Blanid. The pair met on social audio platform ClubHouse early 2021. Blanid talks about her journey with music (which she started at a very young age), the expressive nature of song writing, performing live vs online and the power of music in connecting people/human interactions.
