It's time! Frank and Ali come out of COVID hibernation and hit the trails once again! Reunited with the KC family for some secret squirrel stuff and also a drop in from Martin with Milestar Tires!

Frank and Ali get hang with a friend and Editor/Brand Manager of Tread Magzine, Kelly Nomura. We zig-zag our way around work, magazines, and car culture. We didn't just cover North America, we went all over the world in search of love for rigs and changing times in car culture and popular culture.

Frank and Ali get the chance to finally interview Brian Fulton, founder, and owner of Goose Gear. This southern California company has been making meticulously designed and crafted interiors for the overland community for years. Where they started may surprise some, but why they started is a great story!

Our first episode since the COVID-19 lockdown hit the United States and Southern California. Frank and Ali take the podcast adventure remote with guest Olaf Kilthau. While we need to tackle the talk of the current situation, how we’re handling it and how the nation is handling it, we also get into some other topics. Particularly in the use of public lands and ensuring OHV access for generations to come. Olaf, a former partner in Area BFE, is uniquely qualified to share his knowledge and view on the topic. Rigged for Dirt heads out on a camping trip with about 100 listeners! This episode was recorded about 2 1/2 weeks before it’s release and was the last major outing any of us took before COVID-19 changed everything. Now sitting at home, reminiscing of the good times we had with everyone and the Weekend Off-Road guys.

We arrive at Episode 31 at an interesting time. Recording when the novel COVID-19 was beginning to become a reality in the USA, we were at one of the last major events in the country. A large gathering of Overlanders and Off-roaders at the very first Four-Wheeler Adventure Expo in Costa Mesa, CA. We had the opportunity to sit down with Michael of Overland Bound fame. We talk about the origins of his passion for the outdoors, Overland Bound and so much more! RFD San Diego did not happen as in the coming days of this recording we went into a global pandemic and subsequent cancelation of all gatherings. Frank and Ali revisit the scene with Adam (@oh_that_1_dude) where his rigged rolled during a return from offering help to a rolled UTV. Adam tells us what the whole experience was like, play by play. Frank takes Ali into the den of Toyota armor legend, Demello Off-road. Ali admittedly felt out of place, Jason quickly put him at ease. We had a great time sitting and chatting with Jason Demello, creator of the famed Demello Off-road bumpers and sliders. We talk all business from the tough grind of aftermarket parts to sponsorship and how most importantly how Jason got his start in a small apartment garage.

In this episode, we talk with founder and owner of Roam Adventure Co., Nick Mazzanti. Originally from Texas, we talk about some of the misconceptions of overlanding in the Lone Star state and how moving to CA opened up a new world of adventure for Nick and the company.
