Here we go! Here we go! This year marks 30 years since the Spice Girls were formed and as a podcast literally named after a Spice Girls album track, we simply could not let this milestone slip away without some kind of celebration!

Joel and David are breaking tradition and going all the way back to 1996 to revisit the legendary debut album "Spice". Geri, Mel B, Emma, Melanie C and Victoria completely changed the pop landscape when they crashed into the charts with 'Wannabe' that summer - quickly becoming one of the most recognisable songs in the world! This multi-million-selling album was a global success, spawning further chart-topping hits like 'Say You'll Be There', '2 Become 1', 'Mama' and 'Who Do You Think You Are?'.

We track their trajectory from a couple of 'raw Spices' to global pop stars in this short span of one album. As the sun was setting on her high-profile marriage to Nick Lachey and the "Newlyweds" series; Our Jessica Ann is hitting a new stride! She bagged her first film role, playing the iconic Daisy Duke in "The Dukes of Hazzard" and released one of her highest-charting singles 'These Boots Were Made For Walking'. Little did we know then that the character would become the launch pad for so many commercial opportunities for savvy Jess, including her billion-dollar retail empire!

"A Public Affair" was released the following year, with the title track grabbing headlines for all the best reasons. The music video and euphoric pop tune saw Jess step out for the ultimate girls night out with Christina Applegate, Christina Milian and Eva Longoria.

Joel and David are back with a new girl band episode and in a rare move for this 2000s pop podcast, we've opened the time portal and crossed into the future... the 2010s! Get ready, 'cause here comes a hurricane!

Ichi, ni, san... kaisu! Neon Jungle - made up of Jess Plummer, Shireen Cutkelvin, Asami Zdrenka and Amira McCarthy - scored four UK Top 20 hits including the No.4 smash 'Braveheart'. Their incredible album "Welcome To The Jungle" is packed with bangers, written by More Mega, CockNBullKid, MNEK, A*M*E and Charli XCX! 

Grab a pair of fake glasses, a stylish hat (or silk turban!), and give yourself a spritz of perfume, 'cause Parade is here. Bianca Claxton, Jess Agombar, Emily Biggs, Sian Charlesworth and Lauren Deegan definitely made a splash on arrival with their vibrant pop bops 'Louder' and 'Perfume'. The self-titled album is the real treasure trove here!

Izzy Bizu, Olivia "Liv Lovelle" Redmond, and Nicole "Little Nikki" Shortland were SoundGirl, a pop R&B trio who worked with Miranda Cooper (Xenomania) and opened for Justin Bieber, Pixie Lott and The Wanted. It seemed criminal that they never got to release an album but we still can't get enough of the singles 'Don't Know Why' and 'I'm The Fool'!
