Jason is back from the injured list, like the Oklahoma City Thunder are back in the series with the Houston Rockets. The boys talk plenty of NBA playoff basketball. Of course with Jason back the Houston Astros are a topic of discussion. High school football returns this week to the Coastal Bend, and the NFL is right around the corner.

Jason is on the injured list today, so former Benchwarmers host Brent Bielski fills in with Gabe. The crew talks plenty of NBA after an eventful set of game 1's to start off the playoffs. Brent thinks it's time for LeBron and the Lakers to worry about Portland. There's been plenty of discussion about unwritten rules in baseball, and the boys aren't having it. With the NFL season right around the corner Brent and Gabe discuss some of the bigger NFL storylines.

The Astros are off to a frigid start to the season, who is to blame? The NBA race for the play in is at the final stages! College football appears to be in jeopardy, but the crew is confident that some form of college football will happen this Fall. Of course the NFL is starting up, but it's a little under the radar this year.

The boys are back talking all things going on in the NBA Bubble, despite Jason's recent trip to "Mars". The Astros pitching woes continue as Roberto Osuna hits the injured list in need of Tommy John surgery. High School football is starting up and, Calallen made an interesting addition to their non district schedule, and the guys discuss what they will be watching in this sports filled weekend.

The boys are back, and neither one of them are happy with Joe Kelly's antics against the Astros. However, they are happy about some non district high school football matchups. Jason's age shows a little bit though as "dementia" sets in while he tries to navigate the schedule. It's NBA opening day, and not even Lou Williams' love of chicken wings can stop that. Finally we see how incompetent Bill O'Brien is as a GM, as he makes the Jets appear to be a well run organization.

Jason and Gabe are back, and far more optimistic than last week. It is opening day in baseball, and things could not be better as sports are looking up. The good news does come with some questions though, as the UIL has announced their plan for sports this fall, and the crew is not buying what the UIL is selling.

The boys are back, and Gabe has joined the dark side and has major concerns about the MLB season. The crew discusses the comedic issues that have accompanied the NBA bubble thus far, and Gabe's new love of the UFC; plus Jason and Gabe round out the show with their sports bucket list.
