When Jesus died on the cross, he made a way for us to have a connection with God! Not only do we have a relationship with God, but he also actually adopts us into his family! There is a phrase in the chapter of Revelation where Jesus refers to a church as “Lukewarm.” This phrase can be a little hard to understand at first, but in today’s message, Pastor Dan will be helping us understand what this means! This church wasn’t being true to the great commission. They were offering people all the things except for Jesus! When the church falls into the temptation of just helping people have better lives and not preaching the Gospel that will save souls, then they get off track.

Have you ever had a friend that wouldn’t tell you the truth? Sometimes people will just tell us what we want to hear because they might not want to hurt our feelings. The beautiful thing about our relationship with Jesus is that he will always tell us the truth! He will tell us the truth even when it hurts! In today’s message, Pastor Dan will be sharing why it’s so important that we learn how to receive the truth that Jesus has for us. As much as it might hurt to hear our flaws, we know that the truth will set us free!

Jesus only did ministry for a short time while he was on earth. He had only three years to do ministry, and in those three years, we still talk about what he did and what he taught! He also said that he will be coming back very soon! Even though that was two thousand years ago we should all live with the expectancy that he could come back at any time! In today’s message, Pastor Dan will be sharing about how quick Jesus’ return will be! We won’t have time to prepare for it and it will be without warning!

After Jesus was resurrected, he spent some time with the disciples, and then he ascended back into heaven with God! According to Jesus, it was actually better for us that he goes and be with the father so that he could send us a helper. This helper was the Holy Spirit. There are many things that God calls us to do that we can only do by the power of the Holy Spirit working in and through us!

The third person who is most neglected in the trinity is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the helper that Jesus sent down after he had ascended and returned to the right hand of the Father! The Holy Spirit is an instrumental part of a believer’s life! He helps us grow, comforts us, and counsels us. He also gives us wisdom, understanding, and revelation of who God is! In today’s message, Pastor Dan will be talking to us and helping us understand the importance of knowing the power and the ministry of the Holy Spirit!

The older we get the more we tend to realize the consequences of our actions. Someone who is younger may not know the value of this lesson until they are older, but the same principle can apply to our spiritual lives as well. In today’s message, Pastor Dan will be sharing about the consequences of Sin. Often the repercussions go far beyond what we can immediately see. There are Physical, emotional, and spiritual consequences that can affect us directly and the people closest to us indirectly!

We are very good when it comes to procrastination. Most times it comes in the case of putting off dishes, or maybe a homework assignment until the last night! It could even be something more serious like forgiving a family member. In today’s message, Pastor Dan will be sharing about the time that we have left. There are a lot of people who will wait to seek after God. But the reality is we don’t know how much time we have left. This story in the book of revelation speaks of a church that waiting too long to repent!
